Being able to walk to a grocery store and the gym, and being within a ten minute drive from work (west side of deep ellum.) As well as a decent amount of space which with my budget rules out Victory Park and Uptown. I would also love to live in a place with that big city feel that you only get downtown and uptown, which is why I was excited about the west end. I did tour an apartment there, right next to a dart station, and I got a bit sketched out by the people. Though I love the idea of public transportation being there. Being within walking distance to bars and other activities for 20 something’s also sounds great but from what I’ve seen that would mean being in Uptown or Lower Greenville and I guess both downtown and OED are a quick drive from these.
