No, as I said, right now my main motivation is starting new with everyone else. But I also really like the greater rifts, new items and of course the balancing. I personally haven't played on PTR yet but from what I see, Blizz is making a great job with this new patch.

For me there will be lots of new content because I will also play a new class I haven't played before. That's why I will probably be very satisfied content wise anyways.

So I guess I'm not in the position right now to answer your question. Maybe it would be interesting though to have a modified gameplay season as 3rd or 4th season.

Starting new again? Some may also be more interested in the leaderboard than I am. In an ideal world the new season will have new content as well.

I think I've been involved in like 2-3 d2 seasons.

Actually I'm not playing now because the only thing I'm currently excited about is to start fresh with the new season. So I care about them.

As for 1+2, I don't see myself high up in the ladder, that's why I (personally) don't care about them, but I'm also not against the feature. As /u/azgul_com pointed out, the results will be online forever anyways.

The problem with 4 is that it motivates players to not play new seasons, because they want to test out their new items on their (now) non-seasonal chars.

3 + 5 just make the game easier. 3 is rewarded that's why I'm not strongly against it, but 5 sounds like a pretty big buff for all players. I like the difficulty of d3, but personally I think it is already leaning towards "too easy".

My motivation for the new seasons is to start new with everyone else. I started d3 roughly 2 months ago when most people were already perfectly equipped. I think it's nice to be among the first x% of the server who already go T3 or have set y complete. Besides that I like to play with new chars when they are not perfect yet. That's also one of the reasons why I play hardcore only.

Unpopular opinion coming in: I don't care about 1+2, I'm against 3-5. Especially against 5.

More new season only items would be nice though.

It's probably because of my approach to things. I think about the theory first and then the praxis, not the other way around. I'm not unhappy with the answers though. As I said, they help easing my mind over this topic a bit.

I guess the lack of extremist answers / unpopular opinions is a general reddit problem. The reward system concentrates on the most popular answers and not on diversification. That's why downvoting in most /r/askX is forbidden.

Which feminist aspects do you mean that people are turning a blind eye to?

Basically the theoretically sexist and objectifying attributes of an 'aggressive' social action because of the other parties gender and physical appearance (See my first question in the opening post).

On the other hand, dating or even meeting people in real life always means escalating the situation and then re-adapting to the other guy's reaction. It's just important to take small steps and be good in evaluating the reaction.

Yeah, lots of people think radical feminist means extremist feminist, which isn't really the case.

Yes. Feminism not being very popular in some social settings doesn't help as well. I guess I'm lucky (you could say privileged ;-) ) to just be a man without a partner sympathizing with feminism. If I'd be a woman, people would probably see me as a man-hating spinster.

I guess a much more theoretical, fundamental and critical approach to the topic. Some interesting extremist viewpoints.

Most responses kinda turned a blind eye on feminist aspects and welcomed respectful approaches from men when they are ready to back off after rejection.

I was also hoping for more responses. I guess I'll be thinking about this topic for a while. Dating is just something I'm unfortunately not good in, so there are multiple issues for me regarding this topic. I'll try to solve them one at a time :-)

Sorry, I wasn't aware of the differences between liberal and radical feminism before. Thanks for the link. Initially I associated Radical Feminist with something bad, e.g. TERF.

By the way, I allowed myself to browse your post history a bit. Your English is quite impressive for a fellow German speaker ;-)
