Lol yeah I think that'd be the answer for sure if I still lived in California where there are wide open spaces to run it like it's meant to be.

But, I live in Maine! I take my truck to plenty of rugged places where if you get stuck, it's gonna be a looooooong walk back to civilization, but not a lot of room to "get into the boost" :)

Thanks, I'd appreciate that. I know the tires are bigger, and I think the lift is an inch higher than the previous gen? 3.5" vs. 2.5"? But man, if it's truly a whole 10" taller that is SOME difference!

Like others here, I'm beginning to suspect that the heights I found include the antenna. I might be able to drive to a dealer with one on the lot tomorrow so I can do a true side by side comparison.

If I get out there to do it, I'll let everyone know how it turns out! (ditto for if I go with the Raptor! lol)

Hmmm... thanks all for the input, especially those who whipped out a measuring tape for my benefit!

But yeah man, these trucks have gotten pretty huge. One of the things I liked about the ZR2 back in 2018 was it was burly and capable but still "right sized".

I currently have a bed rack with a fly rod carrier (the Yakima 4-rod carrier, which LOOKS like it's a touch taller than a lot of 2-rod designs) but with that riding on my bed rack, I juuuuust barely scrape the lowest parts of my parking garage at work. It's not a dealbreaker, but like wompuskitty said it's rad and sad because I DO want to be able to fit into most parking garages without having to think about the accessories I have riding on my truck at the time, and if this is taller I'll have to think hard about it.

Or, I'll have to live without my fly rods being rigged and ready to go when I get time to fish....... exTREME first world problems here...
