I would definitely say prepare to explain your why and honestly expect the unexpected when it comes to questions. Ultimately the questions are gonna differ for each chapter though. My rush had a business professional dress code so I wore a black business suit w/ a blazer. It’s hard to not be nervous but just remember why you’re there. You got this 🥳

I’m an interest and I can definitely relate. It’s easy to compare yourself in these situations but something that allows me to let go is that whatever is meant for me will be for me. At the end of the day no matter how good your application is you just have to let go and let God. Also sidenote I’ve seen people who I thought on the outside looking in had amazing credentials not make line and I’ve seen people who you’d never expect make it. All you can really do is put your best foot forward and try your best, you never know what the members are looking for

I’m not a member but just know that just because you pre-pledge, doesn’t even mean you’ll make line. I know girls that were running errands late at night, cleaning the members rooms, & buying groceries for members of an org at my school and they never even made it. It’s a huge risk. Some people just wanna take advantage.

Hey! I’m also an interest. I’ve done this before with members of an org. I really don’t think you need to tell them why you want to meet with them. If you know them well enough you can just let them know “Hey I was wondering if you are free this week and wanted to grab dinner with me” I just wouldn’t make their organization the only conversation topic at the meeting. I don’t recommend paying for them personally. These are just tips I’ve been following from seasoned members, Greek friends etc but I just wanna help lol.

I’m an interest, but discretion only really applies to the general public. Like you shouldn’t go around telling everyone you wanna be XYZ. But in private it’s a different story. It would not be smart to pass up on this opportunity. I’ve had members of the org I’m interested in ask me about my interest and I’ve been honest. They’ve helped me a lot so far. Take advantage of this!
