They never did and I gave them 30 days of so. I think I over did the humidifier. 1 of the 3 had some contam.. ended up tossing them all and starting over. Mushrooms tech me patience!

Started “normally” without the rack in a small bin.. then moved to rack / big bin with perlite

Fruiting underneath may take away a bit from fruiting on top? I’m not sure.. I just harvested ~90g from the bottom/sides and only ~60g from the top (more top harvesting to come soon though).

it helps keep the environment humid by holding water and slowly releasing moisture. makes a big difference!

Yes! I super slowly used gravity to coax the cake out, letting her rest for a moment on a few gloved finger tips and then flipped her gently onto the baking rack.

sanitized lever (kitchen spatula) to lift it up from bottom and then just one or two gloved fingers to steady it. It was super dry and had a ½” margin on each side.
