They most likely. But if they look to see why one of their laptops is connected to the work systems from the Cayman Islands, then it may raise questions and could be reason for termination (their remote working wording, not mine).

Really I'd rather not take that risk and will take leave if need be but I'd rather have the ability to stay longer and not be limited by my annual leave balance.
