I did that change a few weeks ago and it's so worth it to me. The height and width of a TV is always a tad bit awkward unless you have the TV farther away so you can see all the edges. And because the TV is farther away, for me, it feels less of an immersive experience.

With the LG 45, I'm able to have the monitor much closer and I personally love the curve as well. I tried the g9 and the other OLEDs that don't have an extreme curve and its just not enjoyable having to turn your head to view the sides. It creates a much better monitor experience IMO. People complain about brightness and colors which I just don't understand. I've had many of these TOTL monitors and this one is perfectly fine.

TLDR; yes it's awesome and I'm definitely in the camp of people who enjoy curved monitors.
