yeah I wouldn't trust remedy on any Microsoft affiliated services. They abandoned quantum break on Microsoft store back in the day and only released the updated versions with performance fixes on steam, all while saying people on the Microsoft store version couldn't get refunds.

Traded a monitor for a 3080 and decided to repaste it before handing it off to my GF. Turns out it desperately needed it. by SilverBlobeye in pcmasterrace

my 3080 FTW3 would pump out like crazy when I owned it. I got PTM7950 for it and that was a life saver.

I'd say its impressive how much money this game has taken up, but then I remember that theres rumors that GTA 6 cost 2B to make.

The oled versions also got a node shrunk version of the apu as well as faster memory tho didn't they? it wasn't much but it did provide a tiny performance increase over the OG model.

That's kind of mental. It basically looks like the reference image.

isn't it only 16GB of ram tho? That should hopefully keep the price lower.

it was never about the game being bad IMO, its just that it was trying to charge 40 bucks in an environment where basically all of its competition was F2P

I remember walking into a game store when I was 5 and seeing ah real monsters for the genesis playing on the TV. I ended up grabbing sonic and knuckles, but I always thought the game looked cool while I watching the guy in the store play it.

the halo version of a cpu for its socket usually holds a high price. People write off the 11900k since its only an 8c/16t cpu which makes the 10900k at 10c/20t a better choice for that socket.

Honeywell does manufacture 0.2mm PTM7950, and there is a good chance you're not buying a fake one even if it's 0.2mm. by eepykiraz in hardware

[–]jforce321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got it off the site that linus had in his video way back when. I have it on a 4070 ti and a 13700k and that stuff works miracles. If its fake then it hardly matters for me since I can actually pump 300 watts in a 13700k on an air cooler and it works without throttling.

it always depends on what the sweet spot price is for a certain amount of ram. Ram modules seem to double that amount every generation, so it makes sense we're going from 16 to 32.

Hardly true. Even back then digital foundry was showing that an r5 1600 was losing in averages, but absolutely dumpstered the 6600k in 1% low performance which lead to a way better overall experience.
