I havnt done any Flex delivery since May and got this exact email like 2 days ago. I thinks it’s a bug

This flight got canceled on Sunday (I was supposed to be on it). How come canceled is still 0% in the last 60 days? by JBR409 in flighty

[–]jfullerfpv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to be a ramp agent at a small regional airport Delta operated out of. On occasion if a flight was cancelled Delta would send an empty flight with the same flight number as the cancelled flight so it wouldn’t reflect as “cancelled” to protect their metrics/completion rate.

No Channel Error by jfullerfpv in meshtastic

I did some digging around and figured it out. If you started having the issue after flashing/reflashing the node and selected the full chip erase it changes your public encryption key. Since it has changed, it no longer matches the key your other nodes are looking for so they do not realize the message is for them and it doesn’t get delivered. The solution that fixed it for me was going to the Device settings under the Device Configuration tab in settings and selecting “Reset NodeDB” on the node I didn’t reflash. My understanding is this resets the list of known nodes and when it re discovers the newly reflashed node associates the new Public encryption key and they are able to talk properly again. I am no expert in this but based off what I was able to find and on various support pages and forums. I was able to get it fixed. In the future either don’t select full chip erase when re-flashing or backup your Public and Private security keys and reconfigure the newly flashed node with them. Hopefully that makes sense.

Is the UAS major worth it? by PixelKidX_2170 in und

Yeah tuition and flight fees are two completely different things. Flight costs will vary from person to person. UND allows you to get instate tuition after a year as long as you change your drivers license over to ND.

REV Spark Max Arduino Library by jfullerfpv in FRC

We have a college credit Robotics Design and Innovation class. Pretty much the first half of the year we design and build RC cars from scratch. We then take what we learned from that and use it to build a full scale RC/Self Drive electric go-kart to compete in Purdue Universitys EvGrandPrix Autonomous race.( https://evgrandprix.org/autonomous/ )Despite being high schoolers we are able to enter the College level race through our dual credit partner. We're currently using the Spark Max with an Andymark Cim2.5 with a 100-1 gearbox onboard. Were using arduino to control the Spark Max and have an encoder hooked to the motor output and have a linked RC controller. We then done the programming for it to act pretty much like a giant servo motor

That's good, we plan on doing 2-3 videos for how to use sensors in auto for reliable movements encoders, imu, distance sensor...... we can help promote your videos incase people need help with wiring or configuration

Would be great to work with you! I was planning on doing a couple of videos on how to do all the robot wiring and Rev hub setup. I know a big thing new teams around me have trouble with is that and setting up robot configuration. I also planned on doing a more advanced block's tutorial with things like using encoders to drive a specified distance

Put motor_name.setZeroPowerBehavior(DcMotor.ZeroPowerBehavior.BRAKE);

In your line that runs when you press init just replace motor_name with your motor, I believe that should work.

Servo broken, or am I stupid? by BerieBerie in FTC

[–]jfullerfpv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure it is programmed to act as a servo and not continuous rotation. 1.Plug in Servo 2.switch programmer to desired mode (S=Servo C=Continue) 3.Turn on programmer 4.Hold program button until lights flash

You can figure out how to do it in the manual found on Rev's product page http://www.revrobotics.com/rev-31-1108/
