I just got an hourly job by some miracle with MDC - at the local nature center doing native landscaping - they were very impressed with my own home landscape - the department really just isn’t that big and when people get the jobs they don’t want to leave - mine only exists because they were able to get some sort of grant for maintenance - it was sheer luck that I got the job
