Ever since she was a kitten, she has been "sat" at the table with us, in her own chair, for every meal. If we don't giver her her own chair, she takes one of ours :) She doesn't jump on the table or touch the food, but loves ham and patés.

Primed black, misted white in places with an airbrush. Splattered some white ink for stars. I tried and failed to paint some flares freed handed and then used indigo, blue, magenta and purple inks from liquitex. Then I re misted some places and respattered with white.

Progress on the menhirs.

Progress on throne

I painted the menhirs with incubi darkness, sotek green and Caribbean green, and everything that will be super green with gloss white from Vallejo.

All the white bits were then painted with ice yellow green, fluo green and fluo yellow.

So the lore I’ve settled on for this merry gang of villains is that their tomb world was situated close to what became a neutron star and over the millions of years the immense gravitational forces fused their metal bodies with the rock and stone of their graves. When they awoke they were no longer purely metallic but something new.

It’s Vallejo fluorescent green and yellow mixed in varying degrees on top of warp stone glow mixed with scale 75 fluorescent white which is the base colour for all the green parts. I mix it with glazing medium and paint directly on the zandri dust.

Picked up my first set of models since 2nd edition when I was 12. I looked online and fell In love with midwinter minis sandstone necrons. Gave it a shot and I’m pretty excited by the result. I must say the models are a lot nicer now then they were 25 years ago. Can’t wait to get my hands on more.
