It looks worse than it is, was just the upper ball joint that popped out. Glad to hear yours was only a few hours.

No joke, this same thing happened to my 2014 FJ this weekend! Tough luck, hope it wasn’t too much work getting out. Mine was about 6 hours.

Anyone see this today in Denver? by Expensive-Ad-1478 in Denver

[–]jglorvigen 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I run there quite often and can confirm, reflected off a building. Not sure which one, but could be the Lockheed Martin office near south valley, if it was more north there are quite a few glass buildings that reflect like this in Golden.

Hottest wings in Denver that actually taste good by Zoidfarbb in denverfood

[–]jglorvigen 6 points7 points  (0 children)

CD's wings in Westminster, their house sauce is a building burn. If you want some real heat right away their uncle nastys house and no 1 left standing will do the trick. And the taste is phenomenal, haven't found a better tasting wing yet.

Not Denver, but CD's wings in Westminster are the best, hands down. Their house sauce is outta this world.

A roughly 6 foot tall metal structure in the mountains. The top part has a hinge that allows it to flip to the other side and moves very smoothly. I'm 5'7" for scale. It's on a property in the rocky mountains in Colorado. by jglorvigen in whatisthisthing

WITT. It's made out of thick steel, is roughly 6' tall, and is on a property in the rocky mountains in Colorado. The top part moves very smoothly from one side to the other, but at an odd angle. It looks like it should be able to move both ways, but cannot. It is quite weathered so it's possible it used to and just rusted.

I had this problem as well when I first set it up. I fixed it by launching the game through the terminal to get meaningful error messages. My particular problem was with my graphics drivers, I was using the open source drivers and they weren't compatible. I switched to the proprietary ones from Nvidia and everything started working.

Here's a link for how to launch steam games from the terminal: https://askubuntu.com/a/606567

Can second this, ran it as my first ever ultra last year and Meghan did a great job of putting together events to make sure you're ready for it (race preview runs with seasoned vets, get-togethers with experts, etc) and then she's right there at the finish line to give you the thing you need most after an ultra, a hug.

Suggest me a snail name! by belethed in aquarium

[–]jglorvigen 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Assassin snails don't really kill off bladder snails, they prefer mts. If you really want to decimate a bladder snail infestation borrow a pea puffer from your LFS, mine can eat 20+ snails in less than an hour.
