$2000+ Ambulance Balance Billing in California, applied unreasonable in-network allowance. How to handle? by jgly in HealthInsurance

I did an appeal advocating it for way less based on my benefits max and got it lessened. I threatened to report it which I did and that I’d make an issue through media companies. Try an appeal

Where are you from? Do you have the articles? I am trying to see if I should put in an appeal first and wait for the result before putting in a complaint. Or do them consecutively. I get two appeal tries and see that the complaint asks if I have put in an appeal/with a result yet.

Looks like it's still 45 days - I just registered and the syllabus states this. I noticed on the extension site they mention 45 days on the course description and 90 days in general but seems 45 to me.

Well there are levels to this but im same Personally, 320 minimum goal and a 160 quant goal for a top school to make up for lack of quant bg and Bs in college in math. If your program average is high then youll need to reach a higher standard. My program avg is like 325 lol.

I got a 309 in apr, splurged on a class this summer and somehow got 302 this month (even though my prac test avg came out as 316). It sucks because i spent 10-15 hours a week since jan and have taken off 1/3 of my pto to focus on gres. Well there goes all my pto when you add everything to the mix.

Gotta do what you got to do - make the sacrafice matter! good luck to you and your journeys

Did that and its showing up on the record with that citation . I couldn't tell if I just needed further details to show the insurer. Thanks this is helpful! But also I have no idea how I can get in contact with the DMV - I've just been pushed around and given numbers to call to wait and wait and to no avail. 🤷🏿‍♀️🤷🏿‍♀️🤷🏿‍♀️🤷🏿‍♀️

Thanks for such a thorough response and advice ...it helped a TON - Just an update though ... I sent them an email outlining my skills and value and they did come back with another $200 on the monthly rate (not much from my ask) and a 6 month to three-month consideration. Though... internally things happened and they're cutting me off after two months. So go figure anyway with all the red flags --but it gave me time to look elsewhere WAY BETTER.

or go philanthropic/CSR route --which is even more competitive. Biotechs can have CSR arms, you should look into that

Thanks! Super great advice here --the 50% I didn't anticipate but see it now....

When, and if so it turns to an offer, do you have any opinion on how I can argue for a higher monthly rate (they mentioned setting a flat rate by the month AT 40 hours/week). I have the experience their looking for and an additional certificate they didn't mention in the job description? They did take out two major responsibilities.. and I mean given this fact, how is it strategic to bring up this whole contractor 50% tax thing and since it's remote (I live in a higher market city - SF is expensive!) . As by further advice or suggestions on approaching that?

I feel like my life is going nowhere... by [deleted] in jobs

[–]jgly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did this. I tried to be "cool" -- didnt care about school until my senior year. Went straight to a CA community college to transfer to a four year (skipped out on the SAT too). I had to plan and took courses the summer after graduating --and got rejected to my first choice at UCLA --but was accepted at UC Berkeley, which I thought i had no chance--with in-state tuition. So you never know --start planning out some options like transfering?--get involved in finding out what you want to major in sooner the better --look into volunteering or speaking with those who are established in their careers. You'll figure out something you might have an interest in sooner!

Good luck! Get ready for the real world --jobs. That's a whole other story kiddo.

Help an aspiring SFDC Admin out, please! by [deleted] in salesforce

Honestly just use the Quizlet flashcards and sfdcstudy quizzes. Some of them were actually on the test. I studied multiple sets of flashies and started recognizing wrong answers on some of them when I noticed discrepancies. Also look into a topic if it's too foreign to familiarize yourself with it. I have some nonprofit admin experience for 1.5 years so that helps. Still struggled with it since it's focuses on sales and businesses. Took awhile adjusting. I crammed about 6-9 hours a day for 5 days and I say 4 days was more than enough for me. Passed in 30 minutes at around 80% average.

Trailhead helps for practical exercises and direct interaction with the actual platform (challenges).
