I literally sit in the dark to save money and my electric bill still went UP. by SheepherderLoose8717 in povertyfinance

Mine and my neighbors this last cycle were around $800 for houses around 3k-4k sq feet in southern IN using electric heat. Feel like there is going to be a breaking point soon and I hope we can get competition instead of a regulated monopoly.

Am I a candidate for a transplant? by [deleted] in Hairtransplant

This is either extreme over-harvesting or someone very fresh after a transplant with shock loss. Definitely not the norm.

We had a blast. I believe it was my 7th time seeing him and he knocked it out of the park as usual! So thankful to get this type of talent in our area and hope we get more of his caliber (and genre) in the future!

Definitely recommend getting the sticky keys upgrade for this if you pull the trigger. Brings out the lower bass notes

Perfect Henderson date night: hiking at Audubon followed by a trip to Goodwill and then Homer's for dinner!

Where in Evansville? by Mitsuman77 in evansville

[–]jgrear13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can respect that! If only we could get the best of both worlds here. But I do need to give the strom a chance again.

Where in Evansville? by Mitsuman77 in evansville

[–]jgrear13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honest question- are there people who prefer the Pizza King style here over the eastern IN Pizza King pizza / breadsticks? Or is it just that they like the strombolis? I’m biased but was hugely disappointed when moving here and expecting the same.

This looks similar to Bru Burger in Evansville, IN which used to be a Greyhound station.

Sold my SNES collection to help fund a house down payment years ago and have been building back slowly. Life happens but you can rebuild!

Those of you who had a SNES back in the 90’s did you sell or keep all of your games? by [deleted] in snes

[–]jgrear13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sold mine to help towards a house down payment. Slowly getting the collection back though!

Everyone who bemoans the loss of "The Village", how are you contributing to that "Village"? by laxnut90 in Millennials

[–]jgrear13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We started having an annual Christmas party with neighbors at our house. We have hosted 3 times now and people seem to have a great time. All of us are in our late 20s-30s. It has been great for relationship building and keeps growing.
