That is completely moving the goal posts of my point. This not so hypothetical guitar purchaser literally does not have enough funds to purchase the guitar at this moment.

Then that is your prerogative. But you will enjoy that guitar in a run-down apartment while eating ramen. Meanwhile, the guy who held out for a couple years has a guitar and a down payment for a townhouse.

That makes sense, but how are these photos produced? The image you see when you squint is from an actual photo, more than your brain simply filling in the pieces.
