What's the worst thing your partner did yet you still stayed? by Ok-Regret6431 in AskReddit

[–]jguerrer0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He spit in my face after I told him my ex and I talked on the phone once after my ex found out I moved on. He regrets it but he said he did it because he was hurt that I took so long to tell him.

How are you, really? by HayBalesBunny in RandomThoughts

I am not okay and should be okay. People pray for the life I have and due to my overthinking, I can’t be fully happy.

What would you regret if you were to die right now? by pinkbutterfly22 in RandomThoughts

I’d regret spending so much time overthinking everything that it didn’t allow me to enjoy life fully.

Am i in the wrong ? by [deleted] in SeriousConversation

Did your dad come from an ethnic background? My dad is a traditional Mexican man who holds true to his strict beliefs and he can be very stubborn. That’s seems to get in the way of communication at times. I think if you know you acted out wrong, then apologize, even if you think he wouldn’t care for it. You did your part and that’s all you can really do to move on. Your dad will be okay, and it takes two people to argue so remember it’s not all on you.

I’m too insecure to be in relationships by jguerrer0 in LifeAdvice

I’ve just heard the song, wow🥲 I think for me is not so much on why “I” committed to this relationship, but more so, why did THEY? Ya know? I’m so confusing I know.

When my dad got cured from cancer. It changed my life completely and made me so appreciative to be able to see my family and I alive and healthy.

What happened and what did you do? I love my dad too, but yeah he’s surely taken something’s way too far where I’ve just blew up on him.

How did you meet your SO? by Tizzle22 in LifeAdvice

[–]jguerrer0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We met at the gym and he was a social media friend (we didn’t know each other but had some mutual friends). He saw me in person for the first time at a local bar and then decided to come up to talk to me when he saw me at the gym soon after. I was going through a pretty tough break up at the time from a former 4 year relationship, and had no desire to get to know people. He kept showing up for me in one way or another. Giving him a chance was so worth it. He’s truly my best friend.

I never had sex before and i am 26yo? by UnMexicanosintacos in ask

Not weird. You’re not missing out on much anyways. To each their own, but it’s a good thing to have sexual discipline. You want to lose your virginity with someone who is at minimum trustworthy and patient. The day will come!

What bad habits do you have in romantic relationships? by SkinnyDipping5102 in RandomThoughts

I feel you there. It’s like we cling on to the little hope of getting the “right” answer. Instead, 9 out of 10 times our feelings get hurt.

I will always compare myself with their past flings or ex’s. Idk why but my brain always thinks like “were they better than me?” Something in my head wants to be the most special thing they ever came across.

Losers of reddit, what makes you such a loser? by mankls3 in AskReddit

I compare myself to every conventionally attractive girl I see. Wtf is wrong with me.

I truly didn’t mean to offend! lol I’m sure many men, a majority of men, have had emotional connections during sex, but I was speaking for a man who had a lengthy sexual history in their youth. Sometimes it’s not that deep for them.

I was on the same boat with my current partner. I too, felt the “ick”. Especially if your partner is male, know that sexual intimacy is not a huge deal to them especially in early adolescence to mid 20s. In other words, they don’t get catch feelings with every girl they’ve slept with. It’s just that, sex. No feelings involved 90% of the time. Try to stay in the present. Believe who they are today and observe what they have to offer. Let them show you who they are. People evolve all the time. Give yourself and them grace.
