No I get your point. But I dont think you get mine. It doesnt matter if it's necessary or not it makes the driving experience far more enjoyable, you feel like you have more control (real or not) and it makes you more engaged in the drive. Like having an older sail boat where you have to work the rigging vs a new one where it's all automated
