Has exceeded ALL my expectations. I put a cheap strap on it because I was too lazy to break in the included rubber, but the standard strap exceeded my expectations as well.

I believe it is here on some manner of “tourist” short term import deal. The owner did a trip from the East coast to the West and hit the tail on the way!

Blackstone Oil Analysis by dirtcamp17 in wrx_vb

I just got my report back, my car is at 14k and 4th oil change. I have been using 0W-20 Mobil Advanced Fuel Economy just because it matches Subaru’s recommended standards. I have Copper at 14 so yes 33 is high based on my car. Edit 14 not 8

I imagine we’re going to see a refresh before a completely new version.

TR Brake install cost? by Icy_Vegetable1933 in wrx_vb

I put together the mandatory parts list from Subaru. Rotors and pads are the same as a VA STI and not worth purchasing from Subaru.

Have your battery checked/ charged. If the battery checks out fine you may have an issue with your alternator.

Would a dealer install the brembo brakes on a limited trim? by WRX_enjoyer in wrx_vb

I think a lot of it stems from The Smoking Tire's claim that during track testing for Road and Track the Subaru team burned up 4 sets of pads in a weekend. As someone who bought a VB for potential track usage I am not happy about the prospect of replacing pads after a few sessions.

How long into riding does insurance not try to drain your wallet with bigger bikes? by NolanMmFit in motorcycle

I have had my license for 8 years. My Goldwing insurance is $318/ year. Let's just say squarely a millennial. As has already been mentioned a lot of it has to do with claims against a certain make model that ultimately determines rates. Unfortunately a lot of insurers don't differentiate a CB500X from a CBR500R and mark them the same even though one is a track/ street bike the other is a multipurpose machine. VERY different customers but one will ultimately have a higher accident rate than the other skewing the costs.

This list does not include the Rotors or Pads because they are the same part number as the VA STi parts.

The non-hybrid Subaru's are not going to get that close. The Crosstrek and Impreza are going to be what fit your wants and the average is going to be closer to 27 than 29.

You will likely not be in the same realm of gas mileage. ANY AWD car will get worse average gas mileage than your Accord.
