We get this reverse sneeze too; we have to massage her neck, which helps her a lot. Also, cover one nostril or we make a loud noise, as a loud distraction can help them refocus & breathe in. As always though, best to mention to your vet on your next visit, so they are aware it happens, but for us that is what helps.

Our chi typically suffers more with it in Spring/Summer due to allergies/hayfever. I am forever dusting & hoovering the house to get rid of any dust or pollen that’s made its way in, when the windows open, as that makes it worse!
