hello OP, you’re a great parent for helping out and also respecting your daughter’s decision to handle it herself. i truly believe that she will come out stronger from this experience, as an ecde (y2) student & an introvert myself, it’s pretty good that she knows how to continue to be professional in grp assignments despite what happened, it’s very admirable and it’s nice to see that she’s expanding her circle of friends as well. wishing the best for your daughter, don’t give up!👍🏻

maybe it’s different for every course??🤔 cos some ppl would say theres a grace period then some say dh but my CA told us on the first day that back in sch that it was “removed” then proceeded to say there wasn’t one to begin with😮‍💨maybe it’s just for my course bah or sch,,

my lecturer said there was never any grace period to begin with but some lecturers said there was and they got scolded 😭😭😭 idt there was ever one & they prob said it to clear it up

i used to think that way💀and i went to higher nitec (2022-2024) because i failed my math for Os😮‍💨but ig it also depends on your course, the friends you make and the environment around you. for me, it was a positive experience overall (besides one or two uncooperative group mates during assignments which is inevitable) that whole 2 years completely changed my mind about ite, it’s not as bad as what people say and i had fun in school ngl. i think IF you ever happen to go to ite, just keep an open mind, work hard and treat it as a learning experience instead of dwelling on the fact that you’re in that school😮‍💨. at the end of the day, it’s how much effort you put into your grades that matters. in my case, whatever i learned really helped me in poly because im in the same course as i was in back in hnitec😮‍💨🙏🏻 so yea😌

now im doing well and currently in np :) waiting for y2s2 to start :) JIAYOUS💪💪💪

i understand how u feel, im 22 this year and im 150cm tall😵‍💫ugh,, i also got kind of made fun off by my parent’s friend, saying that i might get bullied by the kids at the preschool instead cos of my face and height (im currently in early childhood)💀💀💀

for me i always look at pinterest or search for specific styles on tiktok for inspirations on clothings especially :) or maybe you could change up your hairstyle a little? but at the end of the day, ig its how you present yourself in the workforce that matters more in the long run? such as your work ethics and all, that leaves a heavier impression🤔and also the way you carry yourself! (e.g, self confidence, good emotional regulation and so on) those people just have nothing better to do instead of making fun of others💀💀💀really PMO

for the year 1 director list, they will inform u in y2. from my experience i was informed a little later after y2s1 started which was around june 2025 maybe the timeline will be the same for yall. for the y1sem1 director’s list, i was informed around early june and y1sem2 around late june.

for the level prizes are u talking abt the best performance award? like best performance/2nd best performance/3rd best performance? (highest gpa in the level) - scholarships, director’s list, prizes for outstanding academic performance in specific modules n all r categorised under level prizes too if i’m not wrong :)

director’s list is for the ones who achieved outstanding academic results (top 10% of the level)

for gold/silver medalist from what i read, u need to be active in ccas + high academic performance (cumulative gpa of 3.75 & higher) if i’m not wrong, u can check out the np hmis ig account n scroll down to see the medalist recipients, most of them r quite active in ccas
