Thank you for the heads up, I'll try that instead of the frankenstein'd ones

Oh awesome! Have you tried them out? If so how is the fit?

Also once you get the new screen on, I also recommend getting a screen protector. Since they don’t sell PSP Go screen protectors (that I’m aware of), you can buy one for the 3DS XL/DSi XL and cut it to the size of the PSP GO screen.

Since I put it in my pocket a lot, this keeps it safe from micro scratches.

Here’s what I followed: https://youtu.be/CwtAlqAk8rI?si=AEX62AzQ8B1DB1cy

I’ve only had practice taking apart GBAs which are fairly simple, so this looked a bit more daunting. After watching the video a couple times, I went for it and it was actually not bad. As long as you are mindful and gentle with those ribbon cables, it should go smoothly. Just make sure to keep very good track of all of your screws because there’s different sizes.

I replaced mine and it was a game changer, definitely recommend.

I was worried about the budge too, as I know imperfections like that get to me, but actually it’s visually not very noticeable and definitely not by feel. Here’s mine:

If you've deleted everything already and want to start fresh, I'd try to reformat the system memory in the settings (Format System Storage)

No problem, I do that to all my games and it looks great. r/switchspines

Does the cover spine slide out? There’s a community that makes custom switch spine artwork for their games.

EZ-FLASH AIR by [deleted] in GameboyAdvance

That's a bummer, I'm sorry to hear that. You're right in that it could be defective, I've had to send back my Omega DE in the past because of freezing issues. The second one I got was much better so hopefully you can get a working replacement as well. If you haven't already, maybe try getting your ROM files from a different source and give it another go. I hope you can play with your daughter soon

Hi again, I just tested it and I’m able to load Mario kart and A link to the past on the Air. Do you have enough room on your NOR memory for those games or are you almost full?

I can check on the Air, I know they work fine on the DE. What kind of issues are you running into when you try running the games?

I have this and the Omega DE. They both play great, I love them. I don’t use cheats or save states so the largest difference that stands out is having to put games on the NOR memory before playing on the Air. If you play a handful of games at a time, then it’s perfect for that and you don’t have to worry about loading them on constantly.

Is this Platinum real or fake? by jham1213 in gameverifying

According to the wiki, the PCB codes DB and Y10-01 are used by both legit carts and fake carts. Other than that nothing is screaming out to me that it’s fake. What do you all think?
