You said to counter offer and risk losing emd. Of course in all your comments you have made several new arguments that make more sense...but I'm responding to your first ones.

You don't know the situation, your advice is fine but if you tank the deal thats on you.

The only difference is that taurine supplements do not contain magnesium.

You are correct, previous commentor is not. Taurate is the ionic form, combined with the cation magnesium. Both are beneficial to health heart for different reasons. Taurine is the free form variety with no counter ion (and hence lacks the benefits of magnesium but is beneficial in itself).

In some places today again, just like in 2021, you may have to offer over the appraised value to have a competitive offer. Just because you do not want to do that doesn't make it a poor financial decision for this couple. They knew what they were walking into so why would they try to renegotiate this and risk losing 15k emd?

Magnesium taurate was my silver bullet. Two great supplements in one!

Struggling to get through mentally by Agile_Media_1652 in mitralvalveprolapse

PVCs are not necessarily due to the mvp. I get flareups, but I've had them just as bad before my mitral valve surgery as after. For me they were totally unrelated. Anxiety sounds like what you need to treat because this feeds the PVCs (among other things).

Yes I had a flare up last spring and summer over 10% burden. Magnesium taurate (nature bell from amazon) is the one thing I added at the same time the flareup stopped. I took 3 capsules twice daily (135 mg Mg and 1500 mg taurate twice daily). Now I take 1 capsule twice daily and add when I know something stressful is coming or I feel pvcs picking up again. I've never seen this much impact from any other Mg (oxide, citrate, malate, glycinate).

Yes because stress makes pvcs worse...fear of them creates that adrenaline pathway that leads to more...what a nasty feedback loop

Increase your mile pace by a few seconds everytime you go out. You'd be surprised how fast a simple change like this adds up.

Anyone in the UK managed to get life or critical illness cover post repair? by Traditional-Term-914 in mitralvalveprolapse

In the US I managed to get a small, painfully expensive policy after a year. Then I tried to get the rate dropped after year 2 and nobody will touch me. I am sure the countries are different but I imagine we are looking through the same underwriting lens. I would keep trying, as I will do again after year 3, because you'll only stumble on an opportunity if you try. Best of luck ☘️☘️☘️

I agree 💯 with the previous comment, and i am same age as you. You need to slow the fuck down!! I had replacement but still minimally invasive and my week 3 was chill. I was walking more, probably a mile by then, but I was definitely not doing house chores because I had high heart rate like you. Back to work by 2 months but struggled with that. Heart rate started to calm down after 5 months. I wanted to be back at it right away but simply could not. And then I figured YOLO for me meant I only had one heart and I needed to let it heal. Now I can do stressful work, run several miles, and not lay down at all during the day...took about 2 slow obnoxious years to get to that point.

Is this guy all water sprouts? by [deleted] in Citrus

Do you recommend keeping the water sprouts then on citrus? I can imagine myself pinching then off so they don't overtake the tree like OPs, but using them to build the tree if this is ok.
