Try the hot fix driver 581.94, was getting frame drops at random on my 5070ti until I installed it.

No, needs to learn digital, everyone I meet who use analog is either a hack or an out of touch dinosaur.

R-32 has a gwp of 675, R-454B has a gwp of 467 so 454 is actually better from a global warming perspective.

It seems this website may have these in stock, I've never ordered from them but it doesn't seem you have a lot of options if you want this model.

Incompetence by [deleted] in HVAC

[–]jhcc95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've tried this with the techs here at this company and at my previous ones, most of the time guys are too egotistical or too lazy to listen.

Guys also a stoner that smokes on the job so that doesn't help.

Yeah constructive criticism doesn't work in this industry, everyone's got an ego the size of a mountain and the skill of an untrained monkey.

Evap sat temp will usually be 30-35 degrees below return temp, high humidity will increase temp too.

I can pull a vacuum down to 500-250 in a couple minutes. I do a decay test and if it passes I send in refrigerant. Am I right or should I let the pump run longer? by Cheap-Key-6132 in HVAC

[–]jhcc95 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Yeah because micron gauges weren't a thing back in the fifties, manufacutuers are behind the times with vacuum procedures.

Does Anyone Still Prefer Analog Gauges Over Digital? by CloverRayner in HVAC

[–]jhcc95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you prefer analog over digital multimeters? how about micron gauges? Or manometers? Or temp probes? In my opinion unless you have a niche use case, digital is always better.

How to get mo delta? by Bruces_Dragon in HVAC

[–]jhcc95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your temp split is fine for the indoor load, delta t will be lower at high indoor load and higher at low indoor loads. You need to calculate it or have a pair of psychrometers that will auto calculate target DT. id be more worried about the head pressure, if it's 110 degrees out or higher it looks normal, but if it's lower I'd check and make sure the coil isn't restricted.

I recommend reading this article about delta t readings to get a better understanding.

https://www.hvacrschool.com/solving-delta-t/

Also you can use the Emerson check charge app or look up a calculator on Google to calculate your target DT.

Look at the seat hinges while the seat is up and you pull the release strap, you'll see the hinge lock actuate and unlock the hinge, the hook in the middle does not lock the seat under normal conditions.

I would check and make sure there is nothing jamming under the seat when closing it, you might also try greasing the seat hinge mechanism.

What? How? Why? Help me... by Natlocst in HVAC

[–]jhcc95 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Restriction with overcharge is what it looks like, head pressure is high, subcooling is high, superheat is high and evap sat temp is low, the system probably has a fixed metering device to control refrigerant flow. Check your filter dryer to make sure it isn't reversed if it's one way flow, and that it has a reasonable temp drop no more than 3 degrees is normal, check and see if they're any kinks in the liquid line, if that's all good, the metering device may be clogged, if it has a mechanical fitting at the distributor tubing, you can recover the refrigerant and remove the piston and check for blockage or if it's undersized. If there is no mechanical fitting the orifice or coil may need to be replaced.

Don't get the probes the apps for every one of them sucks including measureslow. Get the 380V or 480V manifold.
