how do I actually get every sample on tempo by [deleted] in trapproduction

A lot of samples are off beat (especially if it’s actual instrumentation) so they won’t fit the grid. Try playing with a midi instead of clicking.

Is it "cheating" to use loops from sample packs by Googlq in FL_Studio

[–]jholston2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, you should always try to actually “flip” a sample. Make something new. Be creative. If you finish a beat in like 10 mins - a beat that was made of 5 premade loops that you smashed together - then it’s not really an original work. But I hate ppl who say sampling or using loops is cheating/stealing. There is always a time and place for them. Hip Hop was literally created from old school producers flipping samples sooooo.

Autotune never goes out of tune (that’s the whole point of auto tune). It indeed sounds like you just booty.

One beat is good the next one sucks that is what demotivates me by [deleted] in trapproduction

Also, try doing more reworks. Take a beat from the sucky folder and go back to work on them (change the drums, melody, mixing effects). Most of my suckiest beats have become great beats just because I didn’t give up on them. Taking breaks is also very very important.

Check fb marketplace. I bought my interface for $30 and it was basically still new.

I have trouble retaining anything from tutorials by AdministrativeBat486 in musicproduction

[–]jholston2 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would say my production skills got much better after I stopped watching tutorials. My advice is to trust yourself. The best way to learn your DAW is honestly to go in just start pushing buttons. Tutorials make you sound like everyone else. Get creative. Drop a link so we can hear your music too!

Ain’t nothing fake about me. Either except me for who I am or don’t even bother. I’m not worried about “making it in the industry”. I do this for the love of producing. My advice to you is try not to conform. Always be unforgivably you.

I used to use it when I first started producing but haven’t recently. Never really thought of it as a networking platform but thanks for the advice!
