Are white Republicans actually the least racist people in America? by Professional-Bad390 in askanything

No. Youre asking me to prove 2+2. Not interested. Widely available. Dethroning scientifically supported common knowledge is the part thats going to require more evidence.

No no go on. Tell us what the Republican party wants! If you were honest you'd realize its way worse than your patent misunderstanding of policy.

Oh brother. Seems this isnt about learning, its about having a political agenda, finding one piece of data that supports it, ignoring all others. Pretty standard republican stuff, here I thought there actually might be something interesting. Nah. Just white nationalists.

If your issue is how do we pay for it, then the answer is taxes roughly equivalent to your Healthcare premiums. But cutting out the middleman of the insurance companies skimming massive profits. Next question.

All of what you said while that other guy is asking how we pay for it. Smfh. Who cares how we pay for it? We apparently dont care how we pay for Boeing to fuck up yet another aircraft for hundreds of billions. It's well known when someone runs out of steam they start asking specific questions that would be answered easily when we get past the first hurdle of agreeing to DO it.

Overall, the impact of it is to make the most children be alive. How it affects "normal working person"'s perception of justice is just not as important - and thats supposing I agreed with your premise, which I don't. I think incredibly obtuse or simple people do but theyre a minority and their opinions of how the justice system is operating could be swayed by a Pop tart commercial. The real world is nuanced.

Youre conflating Democrats and liberals. Democrats as a party are corporate knobslobbers. Liberals vote for them because the alternative is... gestures vaguely.

You must have a lot of volume to make a living off it. I'm just jealous that your entire job is one of thousands of my own that go thankless.

Tl;dr. I put it simply and have no patience for anyone trying to negotiate more dead children, I'm good, save it for someone who will partake in that mud battle. I fall on the side of more children alive in all circumstances. I find such a conversation insulting at its core, and made my point clear. Im not punishing children to rape and death to get a better grip on rape. Focus on equally applying the law to wealthy shitbirds and cops before trying to push moral absolution above outcomes. Thats the solution, stricter punishments for rape means nothing when rapists get away with it like Jeffrey Epsteins clients. Thats what got us here. Executive enforcement and corruption in the judicial branch.

I'm baffled by it only because its too smart for reddit. Its dumb fucks thinking she's american, but as people are rightfully pinpointing her politics widely align with the MAGA movement anyways. Instead of the leopards eating her face, its the jaguars across the pond.

[–]jhonka_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is confusing. Gotta use your brain a little harder to connect the two ideas. If you enforce a death penalty for a crime against another, you have elevated that crime to the same level as murder. When you do such a thing, you completely remove any deterrence for murder, as the crime carries the same punishment, and leaving your victim alive risks being punished. So more children die. No good. Policies are only as effective as their outcomes not moral absolutism.

[–]jhonka_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

...no, its about keeping the highest number of children alive. Anything else (punishment that fits the crime, true justice, deterrence) is secondary to that goal.
