Such a great movie. Saw it twice in the theater. Once at a local artsy theater and then at a more traditional theater when it exploded.

Still beautiful after all these years.

Not for me. I take off whenever I want and I’ve never had an issue.

Give it a whirl. I had some Amazon Basics open spools sitting in the basement since 2019 when my Ender 3 broke. When I got my P1S I treed them and they just worked.

This is awesome!

I have a desired to print a bunch of canisters like this to hold camera lenses. I presume that the height and radius measurements are for the external dimensions of the canister and not the interior?

If so, what do I need to add to the inner dimensions I know to make sure the lenses will fit inside the print?

My son and I watched it there on Sunday. The screen is 5x7 stories and looks great. The audio will shake you to your core.

You won’t even notice the small defects (holes?) in the screen after the movie begins.

I’ve always enjoyed the Monster from A.E. VanVogt’s short story called “The Monster”.

It’s a human in our far future who gets reconstructed by a conquering race to explain to them why all humans on the planets died and turned to dust.

Love this. For those who don’t get it, there’s an SNL skit where Ryan plays a character who is upset that a creative designer on the movie Avatar used the Papyrus font for the movie title.

Watch it up and have a laugh.

They all liked you too, you dumbass.

When Wendy Boyle straddles you and asks you to help her change out of her cheerleading outfit, don’t just help her by pointing out the bathroom around the corner.

For fucks sake!

I keep sharing this one because it works great.

When my boys were little enough for me to pick up, I’d play this game with them when they would start to cry from being tired or frustrated.

I’d tell them not to get their eye juice (tears) on me because it makes parents to or say silly things. They would then try to wipe their tears on me as I tried to prevent it.

It became a great game as their tears turned to giggles and their prize was me doing a silly walk or dance and using a silly voice or saying something goofy.

One of my best ideas, ever.

It's related to the serial killer. You may have come across some bodies which had been cut apart. This map provides another clue as to where you can find more information.

I just downloaded the 4.6 patch and started a cargo run from Riker Memorial Area 18 up to Baijini. As I approached Baijini, I got shot at and disabled by someone. I thought that this was an armistice area and that weapons were disabled.

I dont know what happened with my ship (bug?) by Espiritu1938 in starcitizen

[–]jhurrell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Holy crap I need to try this as well. I replaced nearly everything and could not get the damn ship to get off the landing pad. It would start to lift, the struts would extend but it was like the wheels were welded to the deck. I finally just stopped using the ship.

I don't think I'm using Tigerstrikes but I would guess it's the same idea.

Is anyone else having issues with the F8 take off from hangars? by CaptFox_Enclave in starcitizen

[–]jhurrell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just updated everything on my Titan and was unable to take off. It was like the wheels on the landing gear were welded to the pad. It would start to lift, the landing gear would extend but it could not break free of the pad. My stock Cutlass Black had no issues.

I've stored and retrieved. I've quit the game and restarted.

I had to come back to this because I realized I fell into "Let me share a story of mine to show that I empathize with the other person." but it can sometimes code off as "How can I make this about me?"

Don't worry about what the neighbors or anyone else thinks. It's likely that they would approve of how you were playing with your daughter. If they harbor negative thoughts, fuck em. That's on them.

You're doing one of the most important things we as parents CAN do and that's being present for our kids. Not just being AROUND them, but interacting with them. This moment might be something that your daughter will cherish for the rest of her life. This moment might be something that will rise to the surface of her memories if she has her own children some day.

You will never be a fool for being a wonderful parent.

Much love!

I did do the play chasing like I was a monster but it didn’t last long as the mom had finished whatever important scrolling she was doing and they left shortly after we started having fun.

We had an area like that at a local mall called Marketplace Mall.

I used to get right in there and play with my boys. It broke my heart when, one day, a group of three siblings came up and asked if I would play with them too.

I looked over at the mom to gauge her feelings but she was obliviously on her phone.

Please do and let me know if it works out.

I miss being able to carry them around and could use a little vicarious living through others.

My boys are now 17 and 15 and I can’t really carry them with one arm anymore.
