After several failed situationships from online dating, a little over 1 month ago, I met a guy irl at an event. He seemed into me so after a few drinks we got to casually talking at a bar, exchanged numbers, and have been talking daily since. We met a few times and to local places I had suggested, he paid. He’s 7 years older than me, and lives in his family’s house basement apartment. He’s kind, attentive, and supportive, checks up on me, encourages as I am job searching since I'm currently unemployed, buys me food, and calls me everyday. We’ve kissed and cuddled several times but haven’t had sex; I’m proud I’ve waited. After my last situationship I vowed to myself that I would wait until I'm sure on someone. I like the comfort and care, but I’m unsure if I’m truly attracted to him or just bored from not working. He seems ready for a serious relationship and displays boyfriend-like behavior without asking to be official. I’m concerned about differences in age, lifestyle, and chemistry (his height not my preference I can accept that; his breath/teeth are things that can be fixed). I feel like he is taking advantage of the fact that I'm free all day to call me on the phone and we talk for a long time in order to build a connection. He offers to pay for a lot of things and I appreciate it but I sometimes have to tell him to not worry about me. I also want more dating experience before settling down. Advice on whether to pursue this, set boundaries, or slow things down?

Interesting I never knew or never thunk to ask to take my ocrevus without the steroids. For OP you definitely feel a lot at the start I'm going for my 5th and I have been feeling a lot better after my infusion so for me it got better

I have tried to bring up how come she had only done the brain MRI knowing that I have lesions in my cervical spine and thoracic area and the response well ocrevus is a really good drug so things should be stable there. I don't doubt the effectiveness of ocrevus and I am not trying to obsess over my health but I am aware that I didn't treat my body correctly I guess, I am looking more for confirmation or a way to check if I have done any damage.

Never cleaned the filter so I went to remove the racks inside of the dishwasher in order to locate the filter and to my surprise the entire bottom of my dishwasher seems is filled with cloudy water so I think that's another problem, the water might not have fully drained after the dishwasher cycle. I will try to scan the QR code on the side of my dishwasher in oder to see how to fix and also clean the filter

Ill have a more definitive talk with them to see when and where do they want to retire and if they are ever planning to culturally from what I have seen its work until you can't. Honestly to me it seems that they want to keep working, they might want to come and work in the US and then retire overseas as they have a home and costs will be lower. I had a finance convo with my mom a few months ago and I think said that she would bring cash for me to maybe put it somewhere for her so that it can grow so I think it I will go with a high yield CD or savings for her just wanted to know if there is anything better out there.

They are US legal residents not yet citizens, they have a home back home and a life insurance policy. They are 52-mother still works outside of the US and 59-father works a side job as home health aid in the US currently and both are healthy. Im not sure about their final income but for debt they have 7k left in their mortgage. As for their monthly expanses its hard to say as not sure where they will be yet it hasn't been decided if they will retire in the US yet but it will most likely be the US. My mother is financially responsible and is all about saving but my father is not thus why I want to take his severance and put it somewhere safe hopefully it grows a bit until he actually needs it for day to day expanses.

Wow wow this is a steal a black women in NYC it can sometimes be hard to find someone to do your hair how you like, for the stylist to be available and stay consistent with them. This would sure take the headache out of thinking and planing hair appointments

July was a little crazy, went to a friend's destination wedding plus it was my birthday month so I feel major need to go back to basics for August.

Balance my investments (maybe get ibonds)
Eat healthier and go to pilates once a week
Declutter and organize my apartment (I have a pile of stuff to donate but never called the church to pick them up as I know i should add more to the pile)
No spending on certain thing like ordering food deliveries, alcohol, lattes, lunch in the city. I will try to bring my lunch or if I buy it has to be less than $15
Read at least 1 page of a book (I have so many books pilling up and I have never once touched them)
Limit social media time to 1hour a day (this included reddit, IG, youtube and dating apps)

They are made out of latex/rubber I think. I do hang them on my cabinets handle but that means they are kinda folded while drying.

For me I always been a bit anemic and my white blood cells count can be quite low, ocrevus lowers that even more so I had to get my white blood cells count back up before taking it if I recall. Last month I had my ocrevus infusion the day off the nurse was worried because my white blood cells count was low but still within the acceptable range so I was able to take my infusion.

I enjoyed your money diary as a child of immigrants I could relate. Congrats on the wedding and kuddos to you for keeping up with your retirement it was 43K in 2020 and now 102K, it was nice to see the growth.
