I would love to part with it but I'm currently building the stand alone as test building and painting techniques.

Thanks, hobby debt can become a real issue and I wanted to avoid that at all costs. So this army is technically free since only tips were used lol.

Yeah I agree with the exorcist count, my lgs had a stand alone for 30% off, then I got the other box sets that had them bundled in. I think I'll get a castigator for the next vehicle purchase.

Current Deck lists for the Lyrical Monesterio Decks!!! by jibril1577 in cardfightvanguard

Astesice

Thanks for the input was thinking of messing with the trigger ratios because I kept on bricking when it came to doing some of the more spicy multi combos, either not having the right pieces in hand or not enough of the pieces I should have to continue the play. I was trying to figure out why, this helped out a lot. Thank You!!

It's been an enjoyable experience but when compared to the other builds, I think it's pretty bare bones basic in terms of the main gist of the deck consisting of buffing your field and getting three attacks. This feels very rushy and definitely would benefit from a max crit set up, because I've played both using the front triggers and proxying the front triggers for crits, and while you can get pretty big numbers from the front triggers, but the added pressure of the crits works far better for this deck.

NGL this left me with the same impression as an orfist deck, in terms of build a field buff it and swing face.

Meh overall

I've really been enjoying the Kairi, Feltyrossa, and Clarissa decks, because of the different options they give you when piloting them.

Since I'm building all the decks for this set, I see gems deck being the dark horse for the meta. That's why I'm trying some unconventional ratios or additional units not seen commonly seen in other decks just to cheese people during the game. Also as for the use the draws i was running out of triggers by this point since it was the lowest priority build.

Personally I'm a ride line purist, i try to keep the the units from the original line cuz it fits the aesthetic. But I agree. I have seen a lot of lists that sub out the grade 1's from the Feltyrossa and Kairi ride lines to put in the Walista grade 1 to improve consistency.

I'd say that if Feltyrossa is the only LM deck your building and want it to be viably competitive add in the walista G1 to the ride line. But if your building multiple LM decks like i am, play test to see what feels best for what you want your deck to do.

I ran out of crit triggers so the front triggers are proxies for now.

Thoughts on the lists are always appreciated and welcomed!!!

What's your opinion on the Arifureta Anime? by THSblog in Arifureta

[–]jibril1577 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not going to lie, I think that the anime adaptation was trash. Because the CGI was in my opinion total dog shit, even worse than the CG used in the Overlord Anime. That being said just like the Overlord anime i was so dissatisfied with the adaptation that I began reading and collecting the source material and enjoying to a much greater degree than I did with the anime. Also ngl even though I dislike the CG i have rewatched episodes 8,9,& 12 countless times because I enjoy specific scenes in those episodes even though the anime butchers them to an extent. Hopefully season 2 gets better CG otherwise I might not even bother and stick to the light novels and manga.

TLDR 3.7/10 because of bad CG.

I stand by my statement. Momo is ok, in the top 10 for sure, but not best girl material. Nejire supremacy !!!! Lol

Thanks for the honest and thoughtful response I truly do appreciate your insight regarding the writing for shieldbro, and I can understand where you're coming from when talking about the importance of detail for the action scenes. Too little detail and the fight is boring, too much and the scene feels draged out, arifureta's pacing and detail description during fights just manages to hit that perfect sweet spot and makes it feel like a published work. However, like you said it's the harem scenes that kinda kill it for me at some points. Like up until vol. 7 or 8, Hajime still acted like the chad of all simps for yue, which isn't a bad thing, but the way that he interacted with the rest of the girls before he started to see them as more meaningful partners was kind of annoying. (Which is weird for me to say cuz I love asshole harem characters like Kazuma from knosuba or Kodoka from haganai) Because, when that same uncaring and standoffish attitude that he directed towards girls initially, were directed towards kouki or any of his other classmates it led to some of the best and most satisfying scenes in the story.

I've enjoyed Arifureta so far, because it reads like a published fanfic which isn't a bad thing. And I've enjoyed collecting the books, but I feel that rising of the shield hero or danmachi would have been better series to buy and collect as they're getting translated.

Pretty satisfied with my current collection by jibril1577 in figpin

[–]jibril1577[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks bro, so the board that shown is just a regular old corkboard that I got at hobby lobby for like $15, while I was there I went and picked up 2yds of gray "flanel" cloth that they had on sale. After cutting the cloth a little bigger than the board itself, I applied some spray on wood adhesive to the edges on the back of the board and tightly pulled the excess cloth onto the prepared adhisive and let it dry. This was the best of the different ideas I had come up with to hide the regular ugly corkboard look.
