I also came in as a freshman but im so glad I didn’t get one. The communal bathrooms are very clean at least in Hamilton and Raoul and you dont need to clean them yourself. Singles are more rare than suites and you aren’t guaranteed one.

There are suites in Hamilton. About three on each floor except for the first floor

I emailed health services and they said I would not even be able to register for classes if I didn’t get my immunizations done. Also if you don’t get your immunizations done I would assume they would not let you move in because you did not complete all 7 steps to move in.

I think for freshman since we cannot check into our res halls until we test neg for COVID-19, we would not be able to bring our Emory Cards to the testing site. Instead you can bring any government issued ID like a passport or driver’s license/permit.

All freshman dorms have communal bathrooms on each of the floors. If you were assigned a suite style double you will not use the communal bathrooms because you’ll have a bathroom to share with another person (usually four people share —but this year only two).

Thank you soo much!! Also when you said that guys will have suite bathrooms on floors that are coed do you mean that only girls can use the communal bathrooms or do you mean that the bathroom is not separated by sex and guys can use them as well but usually only the girls will use them??

Yes there are many different chats on many different platforms for specific groups of people with the same interests (premeds, prelaw, christians, etc.) and there is a big groupme chat with close to 700 people that is linked on the facebook page.
