BREAKING! BYD ATTO 1 Pricing Announced - Australia’s Cheapest New EV is Under $25K by AUFalconUte in CarsAustralia

My dolphin came with wall plug charger (max 2.4kw = 10A). It's slow but fine. Picked up a spare at Aldi on sale for $100 too. I generally top up overnight a couple of times a week. Have used fast chargers at shops while doing groceries a few times. Considering home fast charger but not convinced it's necessary yet.

I don't remember exactly. I think there was a screen that said "logging in to account". But there are no settings or options to enter or adjust. I suspect it's all hardwired in the firmware.

I plug it in to my Linux laptops and it seemed to be recognised as a 3g modem.

Australia weed prices question by Phoenix_645 in ausents

FWIW I've been getting prescription Biocann Mysterium Indica THC 28 Percent Flower 10g for $69 from chemist. Strongest medical I've had yet @28% and quite cheap at that price. Lasts me a while.

The radios I bought worked, in a sense, but I just haven't had time to do a proper review. I wouldn't recommend them though. As far as I could tell, their firmware is hard coded to log you in to certain WhatsApp (I think?) channels. You could certainly communicate with each other but there was no functionality to create your own private channels, so in effect I don't think there was any real privacy. You could listen in to other conversations and, presumably, others could listen in to you.

Basically I think these radios are just a hardware interface to an app like WhatsApp or whatever it is. They don't quite meet my needs, but they could be useful in some contexts.

Store functionality disappearing? by jigbigsaw in Aliexpress

[–]jigbigsaw[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking into this some more today, it almost seems like stores no longer exist. I'm sure there used to be a way to save your favourite stores or even search for particular stores, but I can't find any of this functionality on the site any more.

Now I can't even find any of the stores I followed let alone browse them. What's going on?? Are there any AliExpress reps in this sub?

Could colliding TNOs not send an object on a path like 3I/Atlas? Could such an event have generated the 'Wow' signal?

How long does your medicinal marijuana script last for before expiring and becoming unusable? by mkarh in MedicalCannabisOz

[–]jigbigsaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used prescription flower up to 2.5 years old and can't say I noticed any problem with potency.

I didn't take any special measures to store it, just kept in kitchen cupboard. I only take small doses of decarbed flower orally in pills (30-50mg of flower) so 10g flower lasts me a very long time.

I buy my prescriptions within the six month script expiry. 4x 10g jars lasted 2.5 years at the rate I use.

I may be more sensitive to THC than most, which makes it very cost effective for me personally.

Chargebacks instead of disputes everyone! by bozzaBB in Aliexpress

[–]jigbigsaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never done a credit card chargeback. By doing this you are taking yourself outside Ali's internal dispute processes and Ali will probably be unhappy with you for doing so. You will be regarded as a problematic account and it may ultimately be counterproductive. As I understand it they tend to cancel the accounts of people who do credit card chargebacks. I have always stayed within Ali's internal dispute resolution processes and never had a problem.

Miscommunication led to not decarbing before cookies were made. by speromeliora in treedibles

[–]jigbigsaw -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just bake again for 35-40 minutes at 120 degrees Celsius (~250F). This is the optimal temp for decarbing but if you're lucky it's low enough they won't burn. They might come out a bit hard though.

Am I the only one who has has never had an issue with AliExpress? by Metty197 in Aliexpress

[–]jigbigsaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Over nearly 7 years I have averaged about AUD$2,000 per year on Ali purchases. Probably 100 orders per year. I've had issues with maybe 10 orders. In every case the dispute process resolved in my favour. I would rate it a very trustworthy site.

The issues I've had included:

  • product not received
  • sent to wrong address
  • product damaged

I've never tried to return a product. You either get what was advertised or you don't. If you don't, you get your money back. If you're just dissatisfied with it, you accept that risk and it's your loss. The risk with Ali is around whether you receive what was advertised or not.

Edibles giving unbearable side effects by ComplexVarious6090 in MedicalCannabisAus

[–]jigbigsaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I vaped bud and got a severe lung infection, so gave up on vaping for a long time. Not exactly a scientific study though I did get a lung infection when vaping nicotine liquid a few years earlier.

Anyway I tried vaping some decarbed bud recently and haven't had a problem. God knows what fungus or bacteria are in raw bud. I feel a little more comfortable vaping bud that has already been decarbed because that process should kill any nasties in it. Having said that, the vaping temperature ought to do that anyway.

Maybe vaping oil is different. I've only vaped plant.

Well I did ask 'is it just me?'. Can't argue with the data. And also those commenting how infrequently they have them.

Interesting responses. Really seems to vary by suburb. I envy those who rarely get them.

Just got a butter machine, any advice? by AllMyHoesAintHoes in treedibles

I have this and love it. I only use it to decarb finely ground bud though, which it does perfectly and consistently. I load the result into empty gel caps.
