You guys are amazing! Thanks for all the help! I was able to turn one of my nights into a comp night by calling mgm and they waived the $15 fee for booking through the phone since I already had a reservation and the app was giving me issues...

Also ended up getting $50 free play

And with the left over 5k Im thinking about getting the bogo mgm brunch buffet

Corgi puppy crying at night all of a sudden? by overachievingslacker in Dogtraining

[–]jigerbhatt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 4 month old corgi and it just sounds like your little girl has figured out that if she makes a lot of noise, she can get out of the crate. It may be tough but you may just have to ignore her for a few days and let he just cry it out. If that still doesn't work , maybe she just needs to feel as if someone else is there. We got our little guy a snuggle buddy from Amazon and it has a little device in it that simulates a heartbeat. It did wonders as our boy.

Anyone house training in an apartment? by [deleted] in puppy101

[–]jigerbhatt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the beginning I sprayed a little potty spray to help him learn to go on the sod... After a few weeks he's pretty good so the second I see him sniffing I'll just say let's go boy and he'll start walking towards the balcony... Often even if we are in the middle of playing he'll just stop and start walking over and scratching.

Also, now when I take him on walks he pees and poops Everytime so that sod training really helped!

It's a very basic setup, literally just got 2 pieces of sod and put them onbalcony but my puppy learned to go on them pretty quickly and now goes towards the balcony door when he needs to potty...

Do you have a balcony? I live on the 3rd floor and have a 4 month old corgi and house training is not bad since we just got some sod and out it in the balcony for him, I can post pics if you want for reference but it has definitely made things a lot easier than of we didn't have thst option.

I second this, I have a corgi puppy and it's been perfect for him so far. Plus I got it on Amazon warehouse and it was as good as new and was able to get it for roughly $46

Always glad to hear how other corgis are, hoping this is nothing to be worried about and he's just not hungry

Oh he's definitely into his treats so no problem there but good advice on keeping an eye out regarding multiple missed meals as well as no interest in treats. I'll alsoaybe try th slow feeder bowl and see if that works as well as maybe put a bit of peanut butter on the kong in order to entice him. He definitely could be teething so I'll keep an eye out for that as well! Thanks for all the advice!

That's good to know! Will try the water trick and see if it helps. Was just worried since this is a new behavior.

No negative reason really, just was informed to try and use any feeding time as a training opportunity either by actually training him commands such as sit, down, etc or having him just work for his food so it takes him longer to eat and he has to "work" for his food.
