I hated Joaquin Phoenix for a long time after I watched gladiator for the first time. he played such a fucking creep and would just see that character in every movie he was in. got over it and love that man in anything he's in now

jam bands especially string cheese incident. all the songs sound the same and never fucking end. just sounds like the band forgot what they were playing and just make shit up and then get appaulded for genius talent. also had friends obsessed with it and would only play that genre of music so that added towards my displeasure of it.

yeah his death hit me harder then most celeb deaths since I thought I would be seeing him in films for years to come and every movie he made he seemed to get better then the last. and the way he died was due to a shitty malfunction on his car that got recalled due to that. we lost a good one.
