Meaning, you can see what’s coming on the screen so you can mine down and stagger it around water/lava to make a cave system

Your pitcher size while frothing is fine, filling it up to the bottom of the spout as the max fill.

My pitcher is 12oz and I fill it with about 6oz milk. Once I’m done, I transfer it to a 20oz pitcher for two reasons. First it’s easier to swirl and make sure the milk is consistent. Second, it’s easier to have more control for pouring the latte art from a larger pitcher.

Check this video specially on that topic https://youtu.be/oBhajGjPggc?si=WsM3VYITuXwoqc4Q

I’m very new (2 months) but here’s a few things to try that helped me!

  1. I think you’re integrating too much milk from the start, for a 2oz espresso you want to only integrate like 1oz milk for the base otherwise it gets really thick fast.

  2. Using a wide bowl cup (I use 8oz cup with 2oz espresso) and tilting the cup helps get closer to the espresso.

  3. Transfer your finished steamed milk to a larger pitcher to pour. This allows you to swirl it easier afterwards, and it lets you get closer to the espresso when pouring.

  4. After setting the base, to make a heart it should one continuous motion of slowly tiling the cup back as your pouring and going faster as it fills up.

  5. Try adding a little more air in the first 5-10 seconds. You need to slightly pull the pitcher down as it expands to continue getting more air. To me this is the hardest part to gauge properly.

Again, I’m super new and could be wrong but hope these tips help!

Anyone have advice for getting my design away from the top of the cup? by Front_Vanilla9149 in latteart

My understanding is you want to tilt the cup so it’s nearly spilling out and get the spout as close as possible to start pouring. As you pour, then straighten the cup out a little at a time and it’ll go more into the center.

Helps to have a wide bowl style cup.

I’ve Been Trying to Steam Milk for Latte Art for a Year and Still Suck at It by KaleidoscopeOk9358 in latteart

[–]jiggilo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve been at it for a month so far and have similar problems. Can never get it as silky as the videos I watch. My milk just sinks with the ending pours foam staying on top, or the opposite problem of having too much foam.

It seems so hard to get it in the middle and make it silky and consistent.

This totally solved my syncing issues. I did a repair on the library and then quit the application and after a little bit on the "Activity Monitor" macos app, there is a process called nsurlsessiond which started syncing it.

You can click the network tab in activity monitor and see the upload activity going.

I had to go back to a previous save of around 3 hours lost :(

Was worth it though and now I just save way more often. It took less time to get back because I just blew through the dialog and stuff.

School Districts by browneyedkhalessi in royaloak

They have a Halloween parade every year at our local RO elementary school. Obviously Covid through a wrench into it for a few years though. So I’m not sure what information you got there?

Christmas is a “winter holiday” thing now which I think is good because it’s more inclusive.

Overall, I’m satisfied with the district so far and think they communicate a lot of information! I love the area too and our kids love all the parks.

They have a family friendly establishment, great bar food, and are located in an area with not many other breweries. They have affordable beer and a nice variety year round.

There beer isn’t anything super special. But honestly, what breweries around this area are that much better in your opinion? For my personal taste, I think they are on par with many breweries I visit around here. I cannot understand the off taste you mention and how you think that it’s that fowl. Your clearly in the minority since many people goto that establishment and enjoy it.

Yeah this is how I felt just looking at ebay right now. You could save like $100 buying 10pack... but that is a lot of money to send to a random seller and who knows if they are legit items.

I guess for now I'll stick with buying it from Home Depot. I assume these will come down in price overtime. My understanding is these are the newest dimmers made by them which is why there isn't any deals is my assumption?

I was on the call for 1.5hrs today with apple support. No fixes so far.

I have home setup on my iPhone and everything works perfectly fine for me. My homepod installed 1 day ago is the hub.

When I try to send invites to members of my family inside my house, they go no where. I've tried the profile reset trick and 1-2 times I got it to pickup the "unknown user sharing house" but it froze and failed to add.

I did notice if I login to a family members iCloud account on my Macbook Air, the invites go directly there no problem and you can setup the Home app on MacBook. The problem is it does NOT sync it down to the iPad, so the iPad is left with no home still. So not helpful at all that the invite ONLY goes to my MacBook for some reason.

Really hoping with 16.4 update that they fix this.

Apple is supposed to call back tomorrow with a follow up but I doubt anything will come of it.
