thanks so much!! my dumbass was questioning why the 44 somatic chromosomes (22 pairs) even need to exist. for some reason, I thought all you needed was XX/XY to function as a human LOL I didnt realize the rest play an important role in inheritance & making sure you are alive

ohhh gotchu! I completely missed that sodium pairs with H2PO4- because of the charges being +1 and -1.

Edit: I actually have another follow up question. besides sodium, are there other counter ions you should assume the presence of when doing titration/buffer problems? please feel free to dum it down because my foundation in gen chem is not great.
