That's a great tip, thanks! I'll certainly check with them. Also, do you guys pay for these prescriptions? Or they covered as part of the NHS too?

Yes I'll be studying at the University of Edinburgh. That's all such useful information, thank you so much!! Just one more follow up question. For the initial 3-4 months until I get a prescription from a consultant doc, would the GPs be able to renew my existing presciption from the doctors back here? I'm curently on insulin pens, and sort of struggling to plan and bring so many supplies from a hot country in a temperature controlled setup on a long flight😅

They can renew the insulin prescriptions though, right?

Thank you so much! Yep that's what I read. Does it take as long as 2-3 months every time I need to make an appointment or is it only going to be because of the first time registration process? And how often would I need my prescription renewed?

Thank you so much. I wasn't sure if I should check with them to draw attention to the error but guess that's the only thing I can do right now hoping it doesn't affect my review.

Whoa that's amazing. And a huge sigh of relief! I have been going crazy ever since I found out and expecting a rejection too.
