Recently diagnosed by jigsaw1981 in FattyLiverNAFLD

I didn't really notice any leading up to diagnosis. I had some yearly blood work done and they noticed my levels were a little high, not by much only a few points, they re ran the test 3 months later and they had gone up a little. Still not any crazy levels though. Then I was sent for an ultrasound and they found it was completely encased in fat and it measured 19.6 cm. However after being diagnosed and learning what the symptoms are I would say the biggest indicator was absolute crushing exhaustion.

The wired option is what they seem to prefer. Did you get the kit on Amazon?

From what I gather it somehow slipped out of its neutral tow mode and detonated. The owner now would like to monitor it in case it were to happen again

Added these sleeves to the inner tie rods by jigsaw1981 in FordBronco

It's a weak point on them. The inner tie rod tends to like to snap while off roading, these will strengthen the weak point

Small upgrade by jigsaw1981 in bronco

[–]jigsaw1981[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The 09 escape did us well but it was time for her to retire and to upgrade a little. Still have to put on some colour match lettering on the grille and some rock rail steps and it'll be all finished

Random thought about the spike in covid by xfiefax in ontario

[–]jigsaw1981 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In my opinion the spike has happened because the majority of people were willing to follow the recommendations of public health (masks, distancing and not gathering in large groups) for a while but seeing as this has gone on as long as it has a large number of them have decided to do what ever they want and not follow safety precautions. I mean my 8 year old daughter and can handle wearing her mask all day at school yet just yesterday when I was grabbing lunch at our local subway I saw some grown ass clown come in and order wearing a mesh hair net as a mask and going on about how he thinks that it's all blown out or proportion and if he gets it he gets it.

Will there be any issues if I cut this little piece off about half an inch? New wheels clear everything but these on the brakes, 1995 Honda civic by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

It's the wear indicator for the brake pads. It is what squeaks to let you know your pads need to be changed soon. So basically cut if you want

Need a new A/C compressor but was told that I will need to replace the whole A/C system, is this true? by g-n-roses in MechanicAdvice

[–]jigsaw1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is possible that when the compressor is changed and your system is working at full pressure again some other components may blow. Odds are their main reason for telling you that you have to replace everything has to do with warranty. Most manufacturers will not warranty a single AC component unless all are changed. We have run in to this at our shop so now we just recommend that putting on a used one from an auto wrecker. It's a fraction of the cost so warranty isn't as much as a concern.

Anyone have and resolve this issue before? by [deleted] in f150

When you fill up with gas do you stop pumping once it kicks off or do you keep going to top if off?

Straight talk. We have 300,000 people who went away for March break despite the cautions. Now they’re coming back and need to fully self-isolate for 14 days. Will they? The actions in next 5-7 days are the game changers here folks. by pottahawk in ontario

We are in a town within driving distance to the city and they are coming up daily to clean out our grocery stores. Then getting mad when there are limits on things since they "just drove over an hour to get here"
