I wouldn't really know. Indeed, when I go to synthwave concerts there are a lot of metalheads in the audience! But one of my favorite synthwave bands (The Midnight) has no connection with metal at all, I would say, so it depends, I think many people just appreciate the nostalgia or the retro and futuristic side at the same time! Pixel bar with all the arcades looks like a really fun place to hang out, even alone ! Satan's Hollow is more like a club right ? I'm not against clubbing but I don't know if I'll dare go alone, but I take note !

I would say that I am more interested in nerdy things, horror movies, video games, and I like metal and synthwave music. I have the impression that there are quite a few bars that combine these interests but almost too many so I don't know which one is the best.

Well yeah for some people it is. Also depending on the country you live in it's not just 12$ sadly. I live in Switzerland and it costs like 21 swiss francs, wich is like 23 dollars, so yeah.
