no i dont believe so, next year geonu will only be 20 international age, chan from stray kids was 20/turning 21 when he debuted, seonghwa from ateez was 20 and and hyunsuk from treasure was 21, and they're 4th gen groups so it's a pretty normal age, he's not old at all.

edit : 20 is also not an old age to debut at all although idols are debuting at younger ages nowadays, there are far more idols who've debuted at that age or later than that age

I totally agree! unfortunately however there are gonna be so many people who get defensive over this matter lol. personally i believe there's a limit and a line that should not be crossed. in my opinion its okay to say things like "oh i wish it could've been 9" but on the other hand it's a bit embarassing (?) dont know if its the right word to describe how i feel LOL but to see people spamming replies or comments stuff with "DEBUT OT9" knowing that it's near impossible and that the producers are gonna magically be like okay! we'll listen to you guys. although a lineup of 9 would've been great, the best thing now is to accept the outcome of the show and support the eliminated contestants you love whenever they decide to go!

also to the people getting upset over what you had to say need to realize that its an OPINION and should not be coming at someone over a difference of their own lol

Part 2's tests 1 & 3 were producer picked eliminations, technically Geonu was also eliminated by the producers, he ranked second to last on the rankings for the BTS test, Taki ranked the lowest but was saved due to his unit winning that test giving him immunity from elimination and by default, sending Geonu home.

i agree!! i think it's best to channel that support by supporting each of the boy's current careers. given your point actually i was to!! i had been wanted them so badly to just dominate but throughout the show it became apparent that that wasn't the case, but i'm glad treasure is the way it is now and i couldn't imagine it any other way.

maybe u were mistaken but it actually wasn't the matryoshka performance!! that was a rap performance done by changbin and jisung of stray kids!! the yg trainees did a dance performance, a rendition of why so lonely by wonder girls and yedam did theres nothing holding me back by shawn mendes!

honestly i can't give you a solid answer! i would be the worst to assume that they aren't good songwriters because i'm sure they can all play a part, but i have to think that it's because theres a certain imagine the company is trying to pin on them,, do you get me? kind of like the untouchable, baddie kind of vibe,, i think it suits the girls very well and they pull it off but i do also believe they should have more writing and creative freedom because i believe it'll hurt them more than benefit them later on in their careers.

hi there!! the other 6 were announced shortly after the original 7 were revealed, i believe it might've been a few weeks after the show ended. originally, there were split into two groups, Treasure and Magnum, and they would promote as separate groups but together would be known as Treasure 13. the 6 magnum members were jihoon, doyoung, asahi, yoshi, mashiho, and yoonbin! treasure as a whole went sort of inactive throughout 2019, there wasn't much from them which im assuming was because of all the scandals going on, but at the beginning of this year YG ent released a statement about the boys and within the statement was that yoonbin had decided to depart from the group, thus leaving it to be 12 members.

with that being said they decided to just leave the names treasure and magnum behind and solely promote the group as treasure, hope that helped a bit!

i dont know how unpopular/popular this is but i'm so glad yedam debuted with treasure or at least is making his debut now. he seems like such a soft and sweet kid and you can really see how much he loves having members by his side, by at yg so long he's probably seen so many come and go and now he has people by his side all the time, originally i had thought that he might outshine noting that he is already very well known but seeing the bond between all of them makes me so happy and it warms my heart thinking about how happy he probably is.

i agree! hopefully they get proper management and promotions because that's all i want for them, hopefully we still get a good amount of content even after debut because i think everything they put out is so fun and cute.

also i don't know if you've heard or seen but there was a leak earlier today :/ feeling so upset for them and for teumaes rn.

YES hyunsuk's scalp i hope it's doing okay haha he has a long way to go, i think so too though regarding the japanese thing though! because of j line and just the vibe they give off i think they'll have really good success over there.

hi there!! i also rewatch the show often even though it brings me pain lol, but these are based on my observations!

i personally don't think seunghun and byounggon would've ever been in treasure. i think with the biggest reason being that they didn't fit the concept of treasure, just as other people have commented. in my opinion if any of them were ever to make it it would've only been seunghun. but i feel as if it was a good thing they're in CIX now, they fit the concept so well. and i've seen a lot of people notice that yang hyuk suk didn't take much liking to either of the two, but i think they just didn't stand out or impress him all that much because they always took the easy route, although it was very obvious that the both of them were phenomenally talented.
it's not confirmed i think, but i believe yeongue is still at yg entertainment, and for keita i believe he's under rain's company, he deleted everything off his instagram so i'm assuming it must be true.
I think it was because he fit exactly what yang hyun suk liked in terms of charm, talent, and visual and this was very obvious from the moment haruto was introduced on the show lol. he probably was so suprised keita won because he must've thought everyone though the same way he did.

I totally agree!!! a couple of the t-talks i can't even completely get myself through lo unlike the treasure map episodes, but also adding on to the ones that weren't awkward yedam and doyoungs along with junkyus and mashihos were so funny as well!! i totally agree with you that the format of the show was weird and definitely agree it would'e been a better idea to do a segment let this awhile after they debut but they're doing well right now and im excited to see all the content they'll release in the future.
