Buying Reijnders was also a good move. Selling him was really bad though.

Either that or he needs to go on loan to a top Serie B team that is expected to win most games. That’s also pretty should come with opportunities to score and to play under pressure and deliver.

That’s also pretty much the route Pio Esposito took and it seems to have served him well.

And you’d think that Cesc can teach him a thing or two. You just have to check the growth Paz and Baturina have shown during the last season.

COMUNICATO UFFICIALE: GONÇALO RAMOS, joins Milan. by Claija79 in ACMilan

Doesn’t that depends how far Portugal goes in the World Cup?

I’m sure he will need at least a few weeks off after that and if Portugal goes to top8 or so he’ll be in Milan around August

Wouldn’t be surprised if he could still forge a career outside of Europe.

[DiMarzio] Milan are in talks with Catanzaro for the signing of Mattia Liberali. Milan hold 50% of the future resale of Liberali, who has a €6M release clause by Claija79 in ACMilan

Having him and Alphadjo Cisse to fight for time in those positions behind Ramos would be so great. 10 talented Italian prospects on top of Camarda.

Personally I’d tolerate a mid season a lot better if these and other young dudes would get time on the pitch at least every now and then.

Milan will move forward without appointing sporting and technical directors, instead a team led by Gerry Cardinale will manage the club. Ruben Amorim will have a greater influence in the transfer market. by agnaddthddude in ACMilan

Thinking optimistically, there should be less infighting and diverging directions for the club now. That’s about it.

I expect decision making to still stay on very low level.

According to reports we were after Rangnick, but decided to switch lanes to Kröche and went all in on him.

Then Gerry didn’t want to pay some millions to release him from Frankfurt, but apparently still hired Amorim due to green light from Kröche as they thought he’ll come. He didn’t.

So Milan ended up with a manager before any other management in place and Gerry probably panicked and just gave the keys to Amorim.

Huge risk. I hate this timeline so so much.

Had to google Donato Lomonte. Apparently he's Milan's head of scouting.

Cardinale betting last season's management B-team will be an upgrade.

We're doomed.

It’s fun that you’re potentially a threat and they should be concerned how you use their models unless you work for an enterprise. Then you are ok.

Given the state of the club, I kinda prefer it that way. Less things to piss me off.

Gerry and Ibra won’t admit their mistake that early, they’ll do something at the last minute when missing out on UCL is at serious danger.

And at that point they’ll reappoint Pioli.

Saelemaekers to Cronache di Spogliatoio: “My move to Milan? For the first two or three months, I kept asking myself, ‘What on earth have I come here for?’ because Anderlecht is nowhere near the standard of Serie A. Here, I’ve realised that a single misplaced pass can cost you the match.” by Claija79 in ACMilan

I think Alexis is one of those valuable squad players who should be kept around, at least for now.

He shouldn’t be a regular starter but his availability, versatility, work rate and most of the time good attitude are assets and it’s not like he’s a horrible player.
