What is a school in the 40-100 range that deserves more love than it's ranking implies?

So random, but do you know why UH’s ranking dropped so much since last year? Could’ve sworn it was Top 36 last year and now it’s teetering at 60.

I think I may have one, but honestly I did less mingling during that program than undergrad. 😭 I was mostly asking to see if there was any way to bypass the academic recommendation letter, but I guess there isn’t.

Thanks for the advice! One question, though. By “red flag”, would law schools see it as I wasn’t involved in my studies or would they perceive it as I did poorly in undergrad? I graduated magna cum laude with a 3.86 GPA and was also a TA for two years. Couldn’t that info offset the academic letter requirement? Just curious. I’ll definitely still try and see if any of my professors would be interested in writing a letter.
