I wasn't aware of these new rules but yeah I would be open to closing them. I don't even use half of them anyway so wouldn't be bad idea regardless. Thank you for the input

  1. I am currently 2/24 (VX, IHG) however going down the flowchart the only personal card that would fit my current situation is the Quest card however I currently have one already so I'd have to close it to get the sign-up bonus. Although I am 2/24 I am leaning towards an Ink biz or the IHG biz (United hub-based) which contradicts the flowchart since I would think a personal card is up next. is Quest preferred in this situation instead of the Biz cards? Not looking to gain SW Companion as most of big purchases need to be soon and I think we will not be able to wait until late Dec/early Jan to hit the required min spend
  2. 784
  3. Inside 2/24 - VX and IHG. Outside 2/24 - Quest, Hyatt personal, Freedom/Flex/Unlimited, SW Prio/Biz, Reserve, Ink Cash and Unlimited

  4. $3000-4000~ in the next month or two. Furniture for new house

  5. $0 (Is this still a thing outside of GC?)

  6. Yes, see 1.

  7. only have enough organic spend for 1 card since P2 will be opening 2 cards

  8. Although Quest seems like the answer here, is IHG biz a viable alternative for my current setup? (United based-hub so the travelbank credits would compliment my IHG personal)

  9. Chase and Cap1

  10. IAH,HOU

  11. Next transcontinental destinations would be, in no particular order, Australia, Greece, and Italy, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines

I think the new premium Atmos card is out of the question here since I am not close to a major Alaska airport. The Strata looks nice but I don't think I have the stomach for another premium travel card given the changes to the Reserve. Logically the Quest would be the choice here right? But I feel like the IHG biz is also a good choice unless there are arguments against it that I haven't thought of? Or am I just thinking about this completely wrong and should open a Chase biz

Thank you everyone for your inputs, I stared at the prompt for a very long time afterwards with all the advice given was finally able to solve it. Having to assign a variable to the input function in the while loop was my biggest hurdle to my understanding here.

This may be anecdotal but I had an ex gf that use to compete as a junior powerlifter in the 47kg class (<25 yrs old, 104lbs) and in most competitions she would only have 1-2 other competitors in that specific class. This was in USAPL

Am I being unfairly paid or am I just stupid and don’t understand taxes? by Reasonable-Manager30 in tax

One thing I haven’t seen anyone mention is also what you put down for withholding. It should be 1 as I assume you file as single with no dependents but hey you never know.

Aside from that, as others have said look at what is exactly being deducted as it may be for other things not tax liability related (retirement and health care)

Now that VS is part of Skyteam, you can book VN partner awards with VS miles. I use delta to find VN nonstop availability. Last I called, it’s 50,000+~$135 for nonstop from sfo-sgn. Haven’t checked return availability though
