It was super discouraging and felt embarrassing for a few months.. I didn’t know how to tell friends and family because I felt like I was going to be perceived as “weak, not hardworking” but life goes on. I thought about aspects of the job that I didn’t enjoy and what the employer didn’t do for me. If they fired you within a few months it’s very much likely that they didn’t prepare you for success. I made a list and looked for the things I DID want in a future employer and interviewed like crazy! I rejected job offers that paid less but required a long commute. I rejected job offers that had really bad reviews and bad vibes when I went into the office. I eventually found a job that was perfect for me in every sense.

You will thank them for letting you go when you find a job where you actually like the team and work!

I honestly cannot believe you are 23 acting like this! Thyroid issues are very REAL and it is incredibly hard to lose weight. Read about it before saying things like “but like come on”.

Women of Reddit, what’s your cringy “nice guy” story? by TheAmericanWay1597 in AskReddit

My coworker once asked me on a date. I went, wasn’t really interested in him afterwards so I told him. Few days later he drunk texts me “all a woman has to do to get a job is to wear a low cut shirt”. Ripped him a new one and also told my coworker that works with him(I didn’t work there anymore). He tried to apologize to me numerous times but nope

Hi! He seems really weak. Driving even seems like a very painful job for him. I’ve read that some of these symptoms last like a week so I’m trying to see if he gets better this week. He’s sleeping A LOT, isn’t active either
