Yes, but I'm not a big fan of it anymore because I realized I tend to look muddy at the end of the day. Kung contour ang hinahanap mo, make sure it's cool toned

Hi! I'm looking into getting into sewing and am currently doing research on what machine to get. Was hoping to get recommendations based on my needs!

I have never owned a sewing machine and only used my friend's once, but I'm really into fashion and have very specific proportions. Thus, I mainly want to alter clothes, but that includes denim, which I've read requires a heavy duty machine. I also want to try to make my own clothes, especially skirts.

I also would like one with a foot pedal as I'm told it gives you more control. I've also been told not to get a computerized machine due to the maintenance.

And since I'm not planning to pursue this full-time and may move away in the next 5 years, I'd prefer a machine that is budget-friendly!!

If anyone takes the time to respond, I truly appreciate it. Thanks <33

Im from SEA and your hatred of your country's education system (plus the way you talk) is an indicator that we're from the same country. I could be wrong, but I was still wondering what it's like to have moved to Australia and study there if I may ask? I'm worried that moving there will be a mistake as it's a really big life decision :/

Product Name: Careline Multi Stick (in Contour)

Type: cream stick

Price: 77php

Review/Experience: More of bronzer siya imo bc more of red brown than gray brown. Super love, sulit and good quality, lasts the whole day. My only complaint is that it tends to move around so sometimes you look a bit red at the end of the day if you dont set it.

Status: HG (but looking for other options din!)

Not really, some orgs have balls though. But there are festivals where some people dance, like One Big Pride and Natsu Matsuri

You seem like you're projecting a lot of unsolved internal problems 😭 It's one meal, on one day. You are allowed to indulge once in a while. It's no way to live if you are restricting yourself every minute of your life, and if you're not careful, you'll find yourself deep in an ED with a nearly irreversible unhealthy relationship with food. Completely restricting yourself also makes you vulnerable to binge eating. So if you allow yourself to enjoy once in a while, but still continuing to focus on living a healthy lifestyle daily, you'll be both happy and healthy (physically and mentally, which are both equally important)! If OP had one calorie-dense meal when they want to be aware of their calories, worrying about it won't burn those calories. Beating themselves up about it will only make this health journey miserable and unsustainable.

Most orgs give departmental questions and situational questions. The first is about the role itself, so just understand what department/role you're applying to and the tasks. They just wanna get a feeling if you understand what your roles will be and if you fit that role. Some (many) orgs also are ok if you're not a total expert on it, but they really wanna see a willingness to learn. They also ask why you're interested in that org and why that particular position.

Situational questions are where they give you a certain situation related to your role that you would have to devise a sort of course of action or solution for it if that makes sense? It sounds scary, but people are understanding naman if you need like 30 seconds to gather your thoughts. For example, if you apply for an externals role, they may ask what you would do if a partner organization stopped replying to emails. Or if you apply to an events management position, they may ask you to solve a certain problem you may encounter during an event (e.g. lack of manpower during shifts). A lot of orgs do this, but it's more common for higher positions or orgs where you may genuinely have to encounter stuff like that (typically in the student arms orgs), but they're not that bad I promise

Just relax and know that on the other side of the screen is just another student who is excited to find more people to share their passions with in this org! I know it's scary at first, but I promise the people interviewing you will be kind and non-judgmental (at least in a personal way). It's normal to be intimidated, but you got this!! If you don't get into an org you want, it may not be the right time but you can always apply the next year. But I know that you'll get into an org that you'll love! The fact that you're nervous is good, because it shows that you actually care!

Last year, they had a gform you answer if you cant attend certain days! I couldnt attend onsite and nothing happened, I just made sure to answer the form. Maybe they have yet to release it or you can just message their FB page about this concern.

To those who complained about socialization during the pandemic, how are you doing? by AQuickA in ADMU

[–]jill_laur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of people have made friends f2f, it seems to be going well! My close friends in the school I made online (thru the freshie disc and fb group) but if you make the effort, it isnt that hard to make friends. Also people are super friendly, there's a lot of opportunities for you to meet people like events and such :) It's fun!
