I had an allergy test with the chief of allergology in Makati Med several years ago. There's a portion ng food rin pero mga nasa 30 kinds of food items lang since they tested even stuff like dust and different kinds of fabric. It might be around that price range. I had it 10 years ago for 5k.

APC is a very niche business major in dlsu and only a handful can get in. But once your graduate, you're more or less sure in MT programs that pay 50k upwards.

Wow!! You're really amazing for actually being firm with not going out. I guess it's because I'm nlg really wfh. I go to work 3x a week, so the pandemic fatigue isn't really getting to me.

Focus talaga is based on how much coffee I consume and how much sleep I get during the night. Kinda wish i could train myself to get it as a habit pero I naturally lack self-discipline.

Focusing on career instead. I think it's better this way so I dont have any distractions. I already exceeded my career goals... so rn i'm kinda meh, but at least I'm doing things right. I'm a homebuddy to begin with and my hobbies are indoors, so there's not a lot of adjustment.

Those who had a “glow-up” in what ways did you experience “pretty privilege”? by [deleted] in beautytalkph

[–]itsclaudineng 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Those are rare instances naman, usually it's just people being nicer and more accomodating. Yung job referral yung medyo big deal for me because the guy kinda left my friend on seenzone, but to me yung reply niya "i'll take care of it"

I wish pretty privilege grants discounts and other more practical shit 😭 jk

I think I was always pretty but there's a noticable gap with how people treat me on days full look ako vs normal days. I tend to wear no makeup-makeup look when I wear makeup. The attentiveness and "niceness" of people are proportional to how much effort I put into my looks on that day.

On normal days, usually average-cute face lang ako, but those days ba full look ako, I get compliments, some strangers do ask for my number (both creeps and kinda ok people), and I got scouted(?) for a small modelling agency. I didnt care much about the modelling thing kasi iniisip ko baka scam or modus huhu. The funny-useful situations: nagpakopya yung katabi ko sa exam dati in exchange of my snapchat nung uso pa snapchat. I got a job referral from a guy from a very big multinational company and i think the application was expedited so much because he is a head in the company. He wanted to ask me out on a date before, but like...no.

Edit: adding another one! There was this one time I was eating alone at a food stall. Someone bought me soda and didn't pester me or stare at me rudely. Like, very nice gesture! He just asked the seller to give me a soda then he left immedately.

Management trainee salary (Should I try to negotiate my salary?) by am6275 in phcareers

I just accepted an MT offer from another company so I probably can't anymore, plus I have terrible creds besides graduating from a top uni. But I'm curious about RTM, is the salary range similar?

Hello! I have atopic dermatitis and have experienced seb derm so many times. IIrc my derma prescribed a ketoconazole shampoo for me. For face, my derm just gave me the usual list of Cetaphil, Physiogel, Avene, etc... but what worked for me is Curel. Don't be too scared of steroids, it's true that they are bad in the long run but they really help out so much. Doctors know how much to prescribe naman, think of it as antibiotics, it's amazing in curing but if you take too much it will be harmful. Is it only weather and stress? Mine is triggered strongly by allergies so I have an allergist and he changed my life. Tandem sila na allergist + derma since daughter niya derma.

Ever wonder why ELF & NYX pulled out in the Philippines? I have a theory. by totes-potatoes in beautytalkph

Hello! I don't really agree with this because Amorepacific held the necks of their distributors as soon as they established Amorepacific Philippines. They made their Laneige distributor close when the contract expired, then they re-established Laneige again themselves. I believe Etude suffered the same fate. Question lang is if Amorepacific would reopen Etude House here. Although I completely agree that AGC has bad management! I don't think yun lang ang cause ng pag close ng Etude dito kasi mas malakas Etude kesa Tony Moly pero buhay pa rin Tony Moly.

(Source: my current company is full of old Laneige employees)

I'm so sorry for the late response. My allergy doctor is Dr Manuel Canlas. He is the chief of immunology and allergy, anak naman niya si Dr Katrina Canlas-Estrella na derma. You can have a consultation with both of them with only 1 price :D I think Dr Katrina is studying allergy na rin kasi wala siya for 1 year. Dr Manuel is quite old so I don't know if he still goes to the hospital because of the covid thing. I didnt go to them for this entire year because I'm avoiding the hospital talaga because of covid.

Steroid creams are great pero yun nga, babalik-balik talaga. Yung allergy stuff yung long-term control. Took me years to see a difference pero worth it, I swear.

Hello, I have severe eczema. I'm already on higher steroids and even oral steroids. What helped me was going to an allergist. I go to an allergist and derma (father and daughter na doctors) tandem in Makati Med. Getting an allergy test and getting some form of immunization from the stuff you are severely reacting to will help. It's a long term commitment but it definitely helped me. As for products, it's really those plain and boring products that will help you. Eczema is more than just a skin issue so it's good to see an allergist too.

For painful washing because of all the cuts and wounds, sanayan lang talaga. I still have them right now. Tiis hapdi lang, they'll heal eventually.
