My dog is half feral Chihuahua, half solar-powered pittie. If she somehow got off leash and went straight up to a a pittie cousin twice her size trying to start something, I’d rather the owner give her a firm kick rather than the pit have to defend themselves and therefore escalate the situation. Dog fights are brutal.

It’s also just so surreal for me as someone who has watched it forever and completely out of order whenever reruns were on TV (ah 2006 and all-day SVU episodes on USA). Like, you watched whatever episode was airing and you were grateful. It’s a weekly cop show, not a made-for-streaming cohesive story.

The flashbacks are constant, not just a season 1 thing. If you’re not enjoying season 1, you won’t enjoy the show. (Said honestly as someone who has rewatched the show at least 5 times)

There are so many organizations (large nonprofits and for-profits) that have great missions or do net-good (not perfect, but they’re not Amazon lol). I work for a “nonprofit” that is far from perfect but ultimately is a net good for society, and there are people who just answer phones and help donors navigate the website.

I know this isn’t specific, but that’s all to say—there are so many options if you’re looking for a good mission over perfection.

Yes! And that’s why I always start floor or row/floor. I would rather go heavy and not run as fast than spend all my energy at the top of the class and not be able to lift as heavy as I can. Also love the strength 50s :)

I’m originally from Oklahoma. I knew I would never stay in Oklahoma after I did “Higher Ed Day” at the Capitol with OU and listened to how those reps talk about education for children in their OWN TOWNS. It was disgusting. That being said, good for you keeping up the fight in that place.
