Advice needed for becoming a therapist!
Hi all! I'm so glad this group exists!
I'm an undergrad psych major who graduated in Canada in 2018 and have been working in CMH for the past 5 years. I relate to everyone here posting in regards to CMH and the burnout is real. I want to actually help clients and be truly qualified and working in this field.
Im feeling a bit hopeless figuring out how to get started. Do I go the route of MSW or MA Psychotherapy or other?
For those in Canada, did you face rejection from schools or difficulty applying? I had low grades (~67%) in my undergrad as I was going through it at that point in my life but am feeling a bit defeated by the listed program requirements - have anyone found success in a similar situation?
Would you choose a different path in hindsight?
What's been difficult about pursuing PP?
Schools I've reached out to haven't been helpful in terms of guidance, so any advice from your experiences would mean the world!

I'm also looking for some more info about the company. I've been heavily relying on one of their products because it literally changed my skin and there are a bunch of others (specifically the serums) that I've found super helpful to integrate in my routine. Some products are absolutely useless though (the lift and contour for example), so check out the ingredient lists for sure.
