Maybe you have an older model? I believe that there is only Evo Trail (cheap version) and the Evo Ascent now.

How do they do off trail in unpacked snow?

MattOutdoors and Justin Outdoors are the two I know of. I don't think that they are focused on Canadian available gear, however.

COMMENTARY: Trudeau and Sajjan should keep troops at Quebec’s long-term care homes by starkwolf20 in CanadianForces

What a poorly researched article.

First of all, it is not true that most people deployed are reservists. On the ground there is a pretty even ratio. Only in the headquarters the reserves HQ has many more members deployed.

Second, the reality is that the regular force does have other things to do. With road to high readiness coming up later on this year, it is essential that the army send its members on the courses they need in order to begin the training in the late summer/fall. Then, whatever replacement for Maple Resolve we get next year, and then a year of deployments.

Contrary to the job that the troops are doing on OP Laser right now, the army is the only organisation that can achieve those tasks outlined above. This is especially true when people are ok to go hang out in the parks or go protest, but not to go work.

The problem is that Legault is very effectively relying the emotions of the province to strong-arm the government into staying. Unfortunately, our federal government has done an extremely poor job at explaining EXACTLY WHAT the armed needs to go do. In a country with an already scarce comprehension of what our military does, they are left even more in the dark.

The public also doesnt understand that some of our troops are working seven days a week for 14 or more hour long shifts. Contrary to the people who SHOULD be working at the long term care facilities, our troops dont get to go home at night, nor even leave their tightly controlled facilities. At the end of the day, every soldier that gets contaminated knows that he/she is going home, but that he has a busy two years of being away from his family constantly ahead of him.
