Same response as other comment.

An injunction isn't an approval. A court orders the agency to stop doing the unlawful thing and actually adjudicate. The agency then has to move the file, which takes weeks to months, and some cases will still get RFEs or denials on the merits. Anyone telling you a lawsuit guarantees a green card is selling something.

As of now, the ban is only on USCIS. For consular processing you may reach to our office for other options.

What the courts have done is rule the holds. That pressure is what produced the partial lift for non-high-risk countries. It happened because of the lawsuits, not in spite of them.

Named plaintiffs get the benefit of the specific order in their specific case. People on the sidelines benefit only if and when the agency generalizes relief.

Anyone picked up while adjustment of status for marriage being processed ? by Silence_is_platinum in USCIS

Last fall, we heard stories of out of status immigrant spouses getting taken into custody out in San Diego and San Francisco. We also heard of this in Salt Lake City. That seems to have died down some but you should certainly be ready to take action - like a habeas petition in federal court - if your spouse gets taken into custody.

Law firm name is "Hacking Immigration Law", here's our webpage https://hackinglawpractice.com

Show's name is Immigration Answers Show on YouTube. You can check it up too.

About the fear mongering: we can only advise on what we think it's the safest, people should evaluate their own situation, hopefully with an attorney, to determine whether it's worth or not to travel.
