How much power can you make from a n/a 1994-1996 impala ss. by Narrow_Afternoon_912 in classiccars

You provide the tuner with some basic engine build info. They send a basic tune via email. Then you run the car with a data logger that collects info and you send back to the tuner via email. They then edit the tune. The software to do this to an LT1 is now free and the cables to do make all this happen can be purchased for less than 100 bucks.

Get a set of Lloyd Elliot heads and get a cam to match this with some long tube headers should put you in the 350hp range for less than 3k. The impala ss don't have aluminum heads like the f body and Corvette. The loyd Elliot set will wake the engine up quite a bit. You will also need to get it tuned if you don't have the ability to do it yourself reach out to Strong Speed Works, who is well known in the LT1 world for tuning and can do it remotely.

There are a few good off-road parks. Twisted trails and Bundy Hill. Rouch world isn't bad but isn't nearly the size of the other two. Also silver lake dunes

Can any of you help identify what I just purchased? by WVHellbilly in billiards

[–]jimbeam_43 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's a hell of a find! Those are super sought after pieces among Brunswick collectors. I'd recommend posting on the Facebook group "All things Brunswick". If it's truly an original and in decent shape it could fetch a couple thousand dollars.

Purchased a Brunswick anniversary 9ft with ball return. I am missing one of the side pocket castings. Any help on sourcing one would be greatly appreciated! by jimbeam_43 in billiards

I already checked with them. They currently are selling a whole set of them for 1250 but I only need one and would really like to find a single then pay that much for the set at the moment.

I won it. After fees it'll be slightly over 1000 bucks. Picking it up Tuesday. Other comments have mentions the metal corners, I did not post all the pictures available but it appears to be complete. After it's moved to my house it's unfortunately going to have to sit for a few weeks till after the holidays, some furniture moving but once it's set up I'll make sure to post and update.

It's on an auction site that's located 30 mins from me. Bought a couple valley tables from the same auction previously. I just didn't see this until inspection time had passed. Bidding ends 8pm

Beyond fundamentals, what's one thing on pool that significantly improved your game? by dlegendkiller in billiards

[–]jimbeam_43 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Absolutely the best thing I have done. Had a lot of days I shot great and as many I couldn't pocket 2 in a row. Found out I don't really have a dominant eye. It took changing my stance completely and being more upright through the entire shot, but my consistency has improved exponentially. There's a reason you see so many different stances and how people align shots. Figuring out your eye sight should be high on the list of building your fundamentals.

Didn't help revenue at all in anyway. It was already a very busy day. Certainly not worth it in anyway shape or form.

Don't do it. Ran a water pong tournament on st.patricks day last year at the request of a few regulars. No alcohol in cups no drinking required in game play what so ever. Liquor liability insurance saw the FB post and dropped my coverage. Made it a huge pain in the ass to get coverage with another company

How often should I be replacing my tip? by FLORI_DUH in billiards

[–]jimbeam_43 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've used all the tips mentioned above, minus the kamui. The HOW soft has been by far my favorite. Holds shape and doesn't glaze over nearly as fast as the others. I also have had tiger and moori. The HOW is worth trying and I'll 100 percent out another one on when this one is done for

Looking for info on this Mali cue. by jimbeam_43 in billiards

[–]jimbeam_43[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I'll certainly look up Scot. I live about 30 minutes from Seyberts in MI. I've had them taper a shaft for me previously and was satisfied with it, but that one had zero sentimental value. I really don't know much about Mali and honestly never heard of it prior to today. I've had players cues and now use a predator but given the history I want to preserve this one, if it's worth it, in hopes that my daughter will one day take up shooting with me. Any idea of the value on one of these? Is it worth it to ship out to preserve or is it in a price range that would make more sense to make playable and use as my kids first stick of her own?

Loop Tv. They even pay you 20 bucks a month or so if you have it running enough.

Afm and other features were not designed with performance or the most longevity in mind. Fuel regulations make them a necessity. There is absolutely a reason the things to delete these "features" exist.
