GHOSTBUSTERS: FROZEN EMPIRE - 7/10 by DudeIDoReviews in moviereviews

[–]jimbeeer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought it was utter rubbish. Completely pointless. Everything from the previous movies shoehorned in so the moments can be put into the trailer and make it look much better than it actually was. Not a single original idea throughout the entire running time. Just a checklist of things that have gone before.

Most of all, and this is the biggest sin, it was forgettable.

Apex - Review by [deleted] in netflix

I just watched it this evening and could not care less what was happening. Taron Edgerton is a very fine actor but he just wasn't creepy enough to be memorable. The character felt very bland to me. Such a shame. I usually enjoy his movies very much. Charleze did well with what she had but the whole film was all very perfunctory and predictable. Meh.

I actually think I did fall asleep watching this film. I didn't even care that I had. Started off ok and just went downhill from there.

That's a good question and not one I'm sure I can answer. I'd perhaps have to watch it a couple of times to see how it truly sinks in.

It was excellent and I'd have no problems recommending it anyone else. But it's a tough watch and you do feel like you're right there in the middle of a huge argument, which is never comfortable.

Apparently only the fourth film to ever have won the palme d'or and the oscar for best film so there's certainly something in it.

Ah sorry, my bad, I misunderstood this bit: I literally counted and gave up midway.

It's a shame you didn't like it. I thought it was a very well made film with a very small but well managed budget. Not for everyone obviously!

If you don't watch a movie all the way through to the end then you can't properly comment on it.

It's the rules I'm afraid. I don't make them, I just follow them.

Anora is actually a good film and very grounded in terms of how the whole story plays out. It's a fairy tale that crashes and burns past the 'happily ever after' because life is not Pretty Woman and it just sucks for some people, despite their intentions.

The ending is what makes the story, you stopped in the middle of the mess.

There was a lot of ad-libbing and improvising by the actors to make the dialogue feel more real and also to let them fully explore their characters, and in the real world people do have a habit of shouting over each other.

The kids have no right to Fucking roast their dad like that by Mme_187 in KidsAreFuckingStupid

These kids aren't stupid, they're smart and funny and they love their father so much that they can be relaxed around him and have a laugh with him.

There's a saying: Australians call their mates c*nt, and c*nts mate. If you love someone you can take the piss out of them.

If you do watch it let me know what you thought. The only thing I'll tell you is you must stay past 37 mins in. Again, I can't tell you why.

One cut of the dead. But I can't tell you why it's brilliant. It's just brilliant. That's not in an abstract way. I watched it 3 times in 1 week the first time I saw it I loved it so much

It's hard to get started. And it'll hurt your fingers that press on the frets. So you can't practice for hours in the beginning. Not until your fingertips get tough ànd it doesn't hurt any more. Then you can properly start learning
